I went downstairs to find Nick sitting at the table alone.
"Hey Rylie," he muttered.
"Oh uh, hey," I muttered back.
A tense silence filled the air as I poured myself a cup of coffee.
"Look I-,"
"Just, let's not talk about this right now," said Nick.
"Alright well... we should talk about it eventually," I said.
"Yeah I know," he said, "but maybe we should wait for a bit."
"Maybe," I said.
"Wassup BITCHES!" Dream yelled as he walked into the kitchen.
"Nothing," I said, plastering a smile, "you're in a good mood."
"I am," he said, "thanks for noticing."
"Don't ask him wh-," started George.
"Why?" Asked Nick.
"Because I planned out an entire day for us. By myself," Dream said proudly.
"Wow," I said sarcastically, "I feel like a proud mother."
I chuckled at Dream's face, which morphed from pride to a death glare in the blink of a green eye.
"Alright," said Nick, leaning back in his chair, "what's the plan?"
"Well," said Dream, "we go to the movies, cause I heard there's this really cool new action movie out, and then we can go to the mall for a bit and shop around or something. And then-,"
"I suggested this part," said George, raising his hand tiredly.
"Yeah yeah, and then we could go out to this fancy restaurant that George found online."
"Fancy restaurant?" I asked, "sorry, I'm not really in the mood to be one of your third wheels Dream."
I gestured to George. Dream gestured to Nick. It was my turn to give him a death glare as he smirked at me in victory.
