Akeelah's pov
As I entered my class it's quit normal but I didn't expect that this will be just a normal class and a normal school. I sat down in one of the chairs next to the window.
This is quit nice, just a peaceful school. I grabbed my earphones and plugged it on my phone to play some songs.
"HEY NEW GIRL!!" I heard someone shouts. As I was removing my earphones all the students were staring at me.
"Are you talking to me?"
"of course you, now get out of my chair and find a new place to sit" says the girl in front of me.
"I SAID GET OUT OF MY CHAIR!" she shouted to my face.
"excuse me" making my way to find another place to sit when she suddenly she pulled my hair making me sit on the floor. I tired get rid of his hands from my hair but she keeps pulling my hair. All of the students where staring at us and didn't even bother to help me.
"NO ONE TRIES TO MESS WITH CHANEL AMORE ALCANTARA, YOU UNDERSTAND?!!" she shouts at me and pulled my hair harder.
"CHANEL STOP IT!!" I heard someone shouts.
"let here go Chanel or else?!" says the man in front of us. Finally the girl let go of my hair. I stand up to fix myself up.
"are you okay?" the guy asked me.
"I'm okay, nothing is bleeding"
"Chanel why would you do that?" he shouts at he girl.
"she tried messing with me and no one tries to mess with Chanel Amore Alcantara!" she shouts at everyone and left the room.
__few minutes later__
The room was full of silence and no one even tries to break it. I sat on another chair right beside a quiet girl but she is still shock about what happened earlier.
"sorry if I just ruined the first day of school. I'm not really the one girl that wants a fight, next time I'll try to get along with you"
"don't even bother this school is just like hell"
"what do you mean?"
"this school is just like a living hell because of the owners of this school, the ALCANTARAS because of that they can take control of the students and staff, making this school like a living hell"
"especially Chanel"
"btw I'm Alice" she added
"I'm Akeelah"
__ few hours later__
I entered the comfort room to fix myself up. After I entered I heard weird noises. FUCK!, the floor was filled with blood. I saw Chanel holding a knife murdering a girl.
"Chanel what did you do?!"
"shut the fuck up if you don't want to be next" she left me standing in the comfort room.
I can't believe from what I saw, so this is all true this school is like a living hell. I'm going to uncover the secrets and lies from this school, these students don't deserve this!!
I went out of the comfort room and all students were just acting fine like nothing had happened. This is not a normal school there is a lot of secrets and lies from here.
__few minutes later__
I still can't forget what happened earlier maybe this school is hiding something from the public.
I was walking in the hallway when I notice that someone is following me, I tried not to look but someone just grabbed my hand and pulled me into another room.
"YAH!" I shouted
"could you be quiet" he answered
"WAIT!, are you the guy who saved me earlier?. What do you want from me?!"
" yes, btw I'm Cyryll"
"I'm Akeelah, so why did you dragged me here?"
"look Akeelah, Chanel hates you and I know your next?"
" what do you mean I'm next"
"she saw your records that you have the potential to become the next top and by that she is not happy about it, she even killed three students that also became top. So my advice for you not to mess with her" he glared at me
"so what should I do?"
" stay low and act like nothing had happened"
"act like nothing happened?"
"do you really think that is the best solution?" I added
"look—"
"this school is like living hell just because of her and you and the others are just tolerating her, all the students are scared to speak up because of her. Now tell me that I'm wrong!" I spoke causing him to cut off his words.
I left him standing there. I can't believe people would just cover Chanel's lies this is not right!
__after class__
Alice's pov
I was walking home and I saw Akeelah' on the other side of the small road.
"hey Akeelah!" I shouted and I ran to catch up to her.
"what do you want" she respond
"nothing!, btw whats up with your face"
"it's nothing... I just can't understand why people would cover up Chanel's lies"
"coz Chanel is the one who always the one you shouldn't mess with!"
"I get the point but why are you people scared of him?"
"she killed three people already and their scared that they might be next" I answered her question.
"well not me!"
"what?!, are you not scared of her?"
"see you tomorrow bye!" she answered and ran away leaving me standing there
Akeelah is weird but in a good way. I hope she wouldn't end up like the others who tried to fight against Chanel, I have faith on her and I will be that brave and confident like her someday!
