Akeelah's pov
"shit! I'm so embarrassed!" Alice, ranting about her bad presentation while ago.
"chill...don't stress your self to much, it's just a presentation" I replied as we were walking down on the hallway.
"how do you know the pressure?! Your one of the top students, clearly you don't know that!" she ranted and scratched her head coz of frustration.
"I hate r-"
"hey guys!!" Alice's words were cut off when Cyryll just popped up from no where.
"what?" Alice asked with frustration.
"yah! why are you mad?? is it because you had an awful prestation?" he teased and chuckled.
"would you stop teasing me I already feel bad about it" Alice replied.
"btw do you guys want to hang out this Friday?" Cyryll asked.
"I have a date " Alice replied. She has a date? with whom?
"with whom?"
"with me" I heard someone talk, so looked around and we saw that Preston guy.
"wait with that guy?"Cryryll asked pointing at Preston.
"yah! stop it! your getting rude" Alice replied and I just stayed quiet.
"so you can't join us?" I asked to break the awkward tension between us.
"yeah, I guess so" Alice replied.
"besides it's still after our Friday class so chill" she added.
__one day later__
It's Friday again I just finished my class and later me and Cyryll will go out since Alice has a date with Preston.
Cyryll told me were going to meet at the mall at 5:30 but why is he not here yet. I saw some benches so I decided to sit because my legs hurt from standing to long. I was looking around if Cyryll had already arrived but I was shocked when I saw a familiar face....calm down he is just an imagination don't think to much. Maybe I'm just hungry.
"what are you looking at?" Cyryll just popped up from nowhere. GOSH HE SHOULD STOP DOING THAT IT'S CREEPY!!
"stop popping up like a creeper" I said in annoyance.
"never mind...where do you want to eat? I'm hungry" I stand upped and fixed myself up.
"Macdo?"
"no...I don't want to look like a fool eating at a kid's restaurant" I said and looked away.
"but your my baby" he smirked and slide his hands to mine.
"don't be flirty....it doesn't suit you" I chuckled.
"don't deny it!" he chuckled and pulled me. Cyryll grabbed me to eat at the restaurant name samgyupsal , the place isn't quit so bad as I expected. As I entered I heard a familiar voice.
"Akeelah!!" I heard Alice's voice from afar. She has a very high pitched voice. She pulled us on their table, I hate to say this but it looks like a double date, I feel cringe saying it.
"are you sure it's okay to sit with you guys?" I asked and both of them just nodded as a reply.
"so after this where are you going to hang out?" Alice asked.
"were not sure" Cyryll replied coldly.
"wait!! I have a plan!" Alice squealed from excitement. She pulled me and whispered something to my ear. As I heard what she's trying to tell me, a big smile was plastered on my face. As soon as the boys so my reaction their face was full of confusion HAHAHA.
We finished the meal, I was so full but it's time to tell the boys Alice's evil. I can't stop laughing, I know Cyryll will get mad at me after this HAHA!!
"so guys we decided that HAHAHAHA" Alice can't stop giggling so am I.
"okay stop laughing and tell it already" Preston said with a cold voice.
"okay so Akeelah and I had already agreed that you two should spend time together and me and Akeelah will have our own plans, so that the two of you will get along together" Alice giggled.
"okay stop with the nonsense I'm not doing that!" Cyryll rolled his eyes at us.
"okay then, if not I should just reject you instead!" I stated as I saw her eyes widen.
"okay fine whatever!" Cyryll said and got on our own separate ways.
Cyryll's pov
I can't believe that I'm stuck with this Preston guy!! I hate this.
"so what do you want to do?" the guys asked out of nowhere.
"arcade?" he asked.
" yeah sure I have no choice!" I said with annoyance.
We entered the arcade and Preston volunteered to bye the tokens so I just agreed.
__few hours later__
Akeelah's pov
Alice and I enjoyed shopping, we bought a lot of things because it was sale. And I just realize it's been a few hours I hope the two are getting along well.
"the two called me and they said we should meet at the entrance of the mall" Alice said while scrolling through her phone.
"okay I will just pay for this"
I already paid the things I bought. Then went to the entrance of the mall to meet the boys. "HAHAHA have you seen the guys face when we got the highest score HAHAHA" I heard the two laugh from behind. I think the two just became bestfriend LOL.
"look at you two laughing, so how did it went?" Alice asked.
"well it was fun but I'm a bit tired now we should go home already" Preston said and slid his hands on his pockets.
"yeah we should get going now, bye!" Cyryll replied and took my hands and led me to his car. I sat on the front seat right beside him. Cyryll had started the engine and drove off.
"so you had fun?" I asked, looking at the road.
"yeah, how about you?"
"yes and I'm also happy you got along well with Preston"
"yeah he was a great guy, easy to be friends with"
"the-" I was cut off when my phone just vibrated. I saw Ella's name popped on the caller ID,I wonder why would she call me in this time.
"yes?" I answered. She muttered something on the phone and I can't believe if she's being serious or not! "WHAT?!"
