28..the dinner date..

Pumasok na kami sa isa sa mga private room dito sa restaurant.
The ambiance is kind of cozy,just like eating dinner at home.

Matthew went to the bar counter and ordered scotch at lumapit na sa amin for our reserved seats.

Vince is already in the table pointing out his order.He knows our favorite so he might have ordered for us.Naupo na ako sa harap niya.

Parehong naupo sa kabisera si Matthew at si Tito Martin.
Nasa tabi ko si Andrei habang magkatabi naman si Vince at Simon.

Nag order na silang tatlo.
While my husband is busy with my fingers touching our wedding ring.
He is smiling the entire time habang nakatingin sa akin.

"Iho..How are you feeling?..Still can't remember anything?..." tanong ni Tito Martin sa kaniya.

Doon na napabaling ang kaniyang tingin sa harapan namin.
Na para bang nakalimutan niyang may mga kasama kami ngayon.

"Yes,Tito...My memory is still blurred..Why wait for the time until I remember anything,If I can make another memories with them,right?..I want my wife happy,and my kids.So right now,I am courting her.My mind is still in chaos,but my heart and mind knows where I belong..." paliwanag niya kay tito.

"It's good to know that then..I am happy for the both of you..Sino ang nagma manage ngayon?Ang daddy mo?.."dagdag tanong pa niya.

Napatango na lamang si Matthew habang umiinom nang wine.Kinausap ko si Andrei para mabawasan naman ang nararamdaman kong kaba.

"Hey,..You told me last time Jane is already here..And you had your baby girl last month..
Congrats,Andrei.." bati ko kay Andrei habang natatawa ito.

"Kukunin kitang Ninang,actually.." sabi pa niya.

"Sure,why not...Vince had been asking about baby sis early this year..Kaso lang pareho kaming busy ni Matthew,so we had planned it next year.Until something happened to Matthew..But,I guess we'll have another one soon.." masaya kong balita.

Napangiti naman si Vince nang marinig ang sinabi ko.Napatingin din ito sa daddy niya,at ito na mismo ang tumango para kumpirmahan ang aking balita.

"I'm happy,Mom.." I know he is.

"How about you Simon?.Are you married?.." tanong ni Matthew sa kaniya.

Napatingin na muna siya sa akin bago niya sinagot si Matthew.

"I'm not..Actually,I feel in love with a girl.But she is married right now.Happily married as I see her.."
seryosong sabi niya.

Bago pa makapagsalita ulit si Matthew ay dumating na ang aming order. Isa isa itong inilapag sa aming harapan.

Pagkatapos umalis nang mga nag served,saka nagpatuloy ang usapan.
I can feel tension in the air.Marahil ay ako lamang ang nakadarama.

"Oh,my bad.Sorry for asking..But why not search for another love? Maybe you are not meant to be after all.."dagdag pa ni Matthew.

"Actually,I tried looking,but I can't..And tried of letting her go..I know she is already happy with her life.But I can't help it.I just want her back.." may diin bawat bigkas niya.

At halos manginig ang aking kamay habang hinahawakan ang tinidor.
Inilapag ko na lamang ito at napainom nang wine na nasa aking harap.

"You just told us that she is married.Why not stay away from her and moved on..Are you still seeing her?.." tanong pa ni Matthew sa kaniya.

"No we're not.I respect her.I know I made mistakes back then,I just want her to know how much I loved her.Maybe you're right,Matthew..She needs her husband and kids,not me.Maybe this will be the last time I'm going to see her again.." sagot niya na ikinakuyom nang kaniyang mga kamay.

His eyes were bloodshot from keeping his tears.
He is hurting and I can see it in his eyes.

"Vince,how's school?..Sabi nang Mommy mo na accelerate ka ulit.."
tanong ni Andrei sa aking anak.

"I'm doing good,Tito..Grade 9 na po ako..And I'm looking forward taking up medicine in college.." proud pa niyang balita.

"Wow!..Congrats,Vince!..See,dad?!..I'm correct.."Masayang wika ni Andrei kausap si Tito Martin.

"You must be very proud,Matthew.."pahayag ni Tito.

Kitang kita naman ang saya sa mga mata ni Matthew.Both of us were so proud of our son.

"I've created a genious,Tito..He was even asssisting dad habang inooperahan ako.He almost know everything in the hospital..Kung pwede lang ito na ang mag manage,ginawa ko na.But he is still so young."
proud na sabi pa niya ulit.

"Wow!..Good for you,Vince..Keep it up.."pahayag ni andrei sa anak ko.

"Excuse me,I'll just use the restroom.."saad ni Simon at umalis na.

Nagulat pa ako nang biglang tumunog ang aking telepono.
Isang text galing sa unknown number ang aking nakita.

Laking gulat ko nang makitang galing kay Simon ang isang mensahe.
Halos nanginginig ako nang basahin ko ang kaniyang text.

'I wish i can kissed you and hugged you just like the last time..' Simon..

Mabilis kong binlock ang kaniyang numero at dinelete ang nasabing text.
Parang bigla akong pinagpawisan nang malamig.

"Are you okay,love?.."tanong ni matthew sa akin.

"Yeah,I was just a bit tired right now.Marami kasi tayong ginawa kanina.Nagbake pa ako.. "
pahayag ko.Pero iba yata ang pagkaka intindi nila sa aking sinabi.

"Let's go home,then..Tito..The dinner is on me..."pahayag ni Matthew bago tuluyang tumayo at nilapitan ako.

"Go on..Take care of yourself,Allisandra..Thanks for the dinner,by the way.."sabi ni tito at tumayo na rin si Vince.

"Bye for now,Lolo..Tito Andrei..Mauna na po kami.." paalam ni Vince sa dalawang lalaki.
