A/N: first point of view ni kuya Vince..

It's been 5 months and Dad is still unconscious.
Mom has been desperate to wake him up.
My birthday and their 5th anniversary had already passed.
But there is no sign from dad yet.

I know mom has been dealing emotionally her feelings towards dad.
But we can't do anything.
All we have to do is wait..

Wait for him to wake up.
Wait for him to hugged us back.
Dad has been my strength when I was still bullied in school.

He made me the person I am today.
Everything he knows,everything he does,it involves me.
He is my shield and my sword against trials and failures.

I touched his hand,their wedding ring is still curved in his finger.
I had removed his stubbles yesterday.
He really hate it when I teased him about his facial hair.

I diverted my vision towards Mom.
She's sleeping soundly in the next bed but her furrowed eyebrows is evident.
Even in her sleep,she's still calling Dad's name.

I missed the sweetest mom ever.
I missed Dad's presence and laughter.
But they were both now hard to reached.
I'm with them everyday,but their is something missing with it.

Mom is always crying specially at night,and I can't find enough words to lift up her mood.
Right now,Grandpa is back on the office habang kami ni Mommy ang nagbabantay kay Dad.

I was about to stand up when dad's fingers moved.
I froze in shocked while
I watched his fingers again.
It suddenly moved and his eyes slowly opens..

I suddenly called Grandpa.
Mabilis kaagad nakarating si Grandpa at ang iba pang mga doctor.
He was examined again.

Nagising si mommy dahil sa komusyon na nangyayari.
She automatically hugged me.
Masaya na sa wakas dad was awake.

But something odd is happening.
He never glanced at our direction.
He saw Grandpa as if he didn't know him.
He first asked for water at binigyan kaagad siya.

Kumalas ako kay Mommy at lumapit sa kaniya.
He never glanced at me again.
Something is bothering him,like he is alive but dead inside..

"Dad..."tawag ko sa kaniya.

Pero hindi man lang siya tumingin sa akin.I called him again ngunit wala pa ding reaksyon galing sa kaniya.

"Dad...Remember me?.."tanong ko sa kaniya.

"A-are you t-talking to me,boy?.."saad niya sa akin.

Doon na napakuyom ang aking kamao.
He can't remember Grandpa..
He can't even remember me...
How about Mommy?..

"Dad,what is happening to Matthew?..Bakit hindi niya nakikilala si Vince?.."naguguluhang tanong ni mom kay Grandpa.

"I've been expecting this,Iha...That after his surgery,he can not remember anything when he wakes up..He is having temporary amnesia.We doesn't know when he will remember us.."mahabang pahayag ni Grandpa.

Sinubukang lumapit ni Mommy sa kaniya.
She touched Daddy's hand..
His eyes drifted to Mommy's hands.
Then to the ring in his finger.

"Am I married?Are you my wife?.." tanong niya kay Mommy.

Napatango lamang si Mommy sa kaniya habang umiiyak.
Gusto kong yakapin si Mom ngunit sumenyas si Grandpa na lumabas na muna kaming lahat.

"Vince,..Please stay.."pakiusap ni Mommy.Napatango naman si Grandpa at umalis na din pagkatapos.
