Chapter 23

"Where the hell are you?" He asks getting angry.
"Sam calm down. We're by the front entrance." I say to him as we keep walking with me on Hayes' back.
"Okay. I just turned around and you were gone." He says to me.
"Is that why you called me?" I asked him.
"Yea. I thought someone took you."
"Sam the four of us have been gone since the first ride. That was three hours ago. How did you guys just notice that four of us were missing?" I ask him.
"We were having fun. I'm sorry. I thought you were always right there." He says. "This day was supposed to be a fun day for me and you with our friends." He says to me.
"It was fun for me Sam. But you didn't even hang out with me. You didn't even notice I was gone for three hours. I'm going to be gone for a months Sam." I say quietly and by now Hayes was listening to us.
"Don't speak about that. I'm sorry Nicole. I don't want you to leave ever. We're all going to find you guys now. Okay? We will be there in a few minutes." Sam says then hangs up. I put my phone back in my pocket and it vibrates again. It was a text from Luke.

Oh no.

"Umm...Hayes?"
"Yea?" He responds. I show him my phone and he stops.
"Is that real?" He asks me.
"They wouldn't joke about that. I need to get home now." I say.
"Okay. Shawn can you drive Nicole home. She really needs to go now." He says and I show him my phone.
"Yea we'll help you." Shawn says and we walk out of the park. I get in the front seat as Aaron and Hayes get in the back.

"Okay guys I need a lot of clothes. You guys pull them out of the closet and I'll fold them." I tell them as I sit on my bed. They nod and start holding things up for me. I rapidly fold the clothing and put it away. Most of my clothing were shorts and t-shirts but I also had a few pairs of jeans and long sleeve shirts.
"Nicole?" Shawn asks.
"Yea?"
"Why don't you have any um dresses?" He asks.
"I don't know. I've never really needed one." I say to him.
"Well you do now. Let's go out!" He exclaims and he picks me up and carries me out to his car.

We soon arrive at the mall and I get pulled into a store.
"Nicole find at least three dresses you like." Shawn says and he sits down in front of the dressing rooms. Aaron and Hayes join him. I groan and look around for 3 different dresses that I like.

It took me a few seconds because they were the first three that I actually liked in my size. The lady at the desk lets me into a dressing room and I try on a dress. It was tight and black at the top and when it reached my waist it loosened and became more of a skirt that was pink. I walk out and look in the big mirror. The boys smile when they see me.
"That looks nice on you." Shawn says.
"I guess." I say and walk back into the dressing room. Next I pull on a white laces dress that has little triangles cut out on the waist. The neck has a gold trim which I loved. I walk out again and look at myself.
"See this is what girls need to wear!" Aaron exclaims which makes me jump a little. "Sorry. But I don't like how girls have to wear strapless dresses to make her look good. Clearly you don't need to." Aaron says looking at me. I smile knowing that I got their approval and I go back to the dressing room. Finally I put on a tight long sleeve black dress. This one was short but I liked it because of how I thought it would look on me. It didn't look at all of what I was going for. I walk out and look at myself. I start pulling down the bottom when one of the boys whistle. I turn around and see it was Hayes.
"You look really good in the dress." He says to me. I smile.
"Thanks. Oh Shawn can you take our picture? I want one with at least all of you before I leave." He nods and I hand him my phone.
"Do a pose you haven't done yet." Aaron says to me. I think for a second and look towards Hayes.
"Do you know what a stage kiss is?" I ask him. He shakes his head. "It's when one person puts their thumbs on the other person's lips and pretends to kiss them." I say to him.
"Okay." He says and puts his thumbs on my lips and he puts his lips on the opposite side of his thumbs. Shawn was about to take the photo when Hayes moves his thumbs down and kisses me.
"That looked good! It was really believable." Shawn says.
"Good." Hayes says smiling looking at Shawn. "This will be our little secret." He says smiling at me walking back over to the boys.
