“Hey, Jasmine, are you going to Hogsmeade?” Hermione asked.

“Nah, not today. I just wanna enjoy the quiet. Play in the snow,” Jasmine said, putting on her gloves and earmuffs.

“Okay, well I guess we’ll see you when you get back,” Ron said. “Watch Harry, would you?”

“Is Harry not going?” Jasmine asked.

“He couldn’t get his permission slip signed,” Hermione said, shaking her head.

“The people that he’s staying with, his mom’s folks. They’re not good people...muggles who hate magic,” Ron said. Jasmine looked surprised at first, before frowning a little.

“Oh...that sucks,” Jasmine said, watching Harry storm back inside.

“Yeah...” Ron said. “We’ll be back later.”

“Have fun,” Jasmine said, watching Ron and Hermione leave. She put on her snow boots and coat, before heading outside. She looked around at the clean snow and walked around. She walked around, and picked up a handful of snow, tossing it up into the air, letting the light snow fall on her face gently. While she was distracted with the snow, two snowballs hit her in the back, making her topple over, falling face-first into a pile of fresh snow. Jasmine sat up and turned around, seeing both Fred and George looking around, pretending that they were looking at something. “Really?” she asked, causing the two to turn around.

“Oh, hi, Jasmine,” Fred greeted.

“Lovely weather we’re having,” George said.

“Don’t pretend you two didn’t just throw snowballs at me,” Jasmine said. The two looked at each other and smiled, before looking back at her.

“What are you talking about?” Fred asked innocently.

“Oh, okay. I see how it is,” Jasmine said, turning to make snowballs. While she was turned around, two more snowballs hit her back, before the twins ran off. “Where are you two going?” she called, chasing after them with a snowball in each hand. She eventually caught up to them and threw the snowballs at them, making both of the twins laugh. The three of them continued on with their snowball fight and played games in the snow.

~A little later~

The three of them headed inside, laughing. Their faces were pink from the snow, which stuck to their coats and boots.

“I haven’t had this much fun in a while,” Jasmine said, pulling her gloves off, trying to warm up her fingers.

“Yeah, we always love the snow, don’t we, George?” Fred asked, looking at George, as he took off his hat.

“Right, Fred,” George agreed, taking his hat off as well, almost in sync with his brother.

“So what do you guys do here?” Jasmine asked, as she took off her ear muffs.

“Well, we’re part of the quidditch team,” George said, taking his gloves off.

“Yeah, we’re beaters,” Fred said.

“Cool, I don’t remember the last time I watched a good quidditch match,” Jasmine said. “Hopefully you lads don't disappoint.”

“Well, your nephew is on the team. Our game is this week, you should come,” Fred said. “See for yourself if we disappoint or not.”

“Oh yeah? Well I better go then,” Jasmine agreed. “He’s a seeker isn’t he?”

“Yeah,” both boys confirmed.

“I figured. His dad was a seeker too. At least that’s what Remus told me,” Jasmine said, shaking the snow out of her curls.

“So what do you like to do?” Fred asked.

“Usually I’d draw. I go to musicals too,” Jasmine said.

“Musicals?” the twins asked.

“It’s a muggle thing, they're plays where people sing most of the time,” Jasmine explained.

“Wicked,” they both said.

“Yeah. I don’t know when the next one will be, but I’d be happy to take you guys,” Jasmine said. “If you wanted to go of course.”

“Yeah, that would be great,” Fred agreed, smiling at Jasmine.

“Great,” Jasmine said, before seeing Harry walking over to them. “Hey, Harry. You missed the fun.”

“You mean Hogsmeade?” Harry asked.

“No, I didn’t go. I had a snowball fight with Fred and George. They tried to ambush me,” Jasmine said, chuckling a little.

“Oh yeah? I hate that I missed it,” Harry said. “I was in the library, researching about you know who.”

“Oh, I have something to tell you. About something I heard. I’ll meet you in the common room,” Jasmine said.

“Okay,” Harry said. “Well carry on with your fun,” he said, walking away, most likely heading back to the library.

“What was that about?” Fred asked.

“Something private. Family stuff,” Jasmine said, figuring they wouldn’t pry.

“Oh, okay,” both boys said, shrugging.

“Yep,” Jasmine said.

“Should we go to the common room?” Fred asked.

“Yes, let’s. I’m freezing my butt off,” Jasmine said.

“Then off we go. Ready George?” Fred asked, linking arms with Jasmine.

“Ready, Fred,” George said, linking his arm with Jasmine’s other arm.

“You two are goofs,” Jasmine said, walking with them, heading up the stairs to the Gryffindor common room.
