~That summer~

Jasmine stood in the Weasley’s living room in the early hours of the morning with Fred, George, and their father Arthur.

“Glad that you came with us, Jasmine,” Arthur said.

“Thank you for inviting me. I probably would have just stayed in my room all summer,” Jasmine said. Hermione walked downstairs, looking annoyed.

“They’re still asleep,” Hermione said.

“Should I go wake them?” Jasmine asked.

“By all means. Go ahead,” Hermione said. Jasmine handed Fred her bag and walked upstairs and into the bedroom. She took a deep breath.

“GET UP!!!” Jasmine yelled, her voice booming like a microphone. Both boys, startled, rolled out of bed and got up, looking at Jasmine wide-eyed. Jasmine stood there with her arms resting across her chest, tapping her foot. “Get up, get dressed, and get downstairs. Mrs. Weasley and Ginny are making breakfast. You have 10 minutes to get downstairs, or I will come back up here and drag you both down by your thumbs. Is that clear?” She instructed calmly.

“Yes, ma’am,” both boys said, nervously. Both were so afraid of Jasmine, that they tripped over each other trying to get ready for the day.

“Good. See you in 10,” Jasmine said, walking back downstairs.

“That was impressive,” Molly, the mother of the Weasley children said.

“You should hear her during our school games,” Fred said.

“I'm surprised the window didn't crack,” George said.

“That's because I wasn't trying too hard,” Jasmine said, chuckling a little.

“That’s lovely dear, come sit. Breakfast is just about ready,” Molly said. Jasmine walked over to the table and sat in between Fred and George, who saved her a seat. Since the end of the school year last year, the three of them had grown close over the summer. The boys would invite her to different Weasley family outings, and as Jasmine promised, she took them to a musical that was playing in the muggle world, which the twins enjoyed very much, even singing some of the catchy songs every now and then.

“So what are we doing today anyway?” Jasmine asked.

“Don’t know,” Fred said.

“Dad won’t tell us,” George said.

“Well it must be epic if he won’t even tell you guys,” Jasmine said.

“Yes, it is quite epic indeed, Jasmine,” Arthur said, as the two boys walked into the kitchen quickly.

“Oh good, you made it,” Jasmine said.

“Yeah, we didn’t want you dragging us downstairs by our thumbs,” Harry said.

“Bloody hell you’re scary in the morning, Jasmine,” Ron said, sitting down at the table.

“Well you two should have gotten up when Hermione told you to,” Jasmine said. “I hope you two learned a lesson this morning,” she said.

“Yeah, get up when Hermione tells us to, or we’ll have to deal with you,” Ron said.

“That’s right,” Jasmine said. The group talked briefly and ate before getting ready to leave. “Thank you for the breakfast Mrs. Weasley.”

“Oh, just call me Molly, dear, and you’re very welcome. Be safe all of you,” she said, giving Arthur a kiss.

“And off we go!” Arthur said, leading the group.

“This should be fun,” Jasmine said, walking behind Arthur with Fred and George.

~A few minutes later~

The group met up with a man, who was standing by a tree. Arthur greeted the man with a hug.

“Everyone, this is Amos Diggory. Amos, these are my children and some family friends,” Arthur said, before a boy landed beside them, having jumped off of the tree limb above them. “Ah, you must be Cedric,” he said, shaking hands with the boy.

“Yes, sir, nice to meet you,” Cedric said, before looking at the group. “Hey.”

“Hi,” the group said.

“Come everyone. Our journey is not over,” Arthur said, walking with Amos. The rest of the group followed along with Cedric.

“Hey, you’re Jasmine aren’t you?” Cedric asked, walking beside Jasmine, while the twins walked ahead to bother Ron.

“Yeah, you know me?” Jasmine asked.

“Everyone in Hogwarts knows about you and Harry,” Cedric said.

“I knew I’ve seen you before. Didn’t we have the same potions class?” Jasmine asked.

“Yeah, I sit behind you,” Cedric said.

“Oh yeah. You and your friends like to disrupt the class,” Jasmine said. Cedric chuckled a little, looking slightly embarrassed.

“Yeah,” Cedric said.

“Are you attending Hogwarts this year?” Jasmine asked.

“Yeah. It’s important that I attend this year,” Cedric said, earning a nod from Jasmine. She was about to say something before seeing Arthur and Amos walking over to an old boot.

“We came up here for a boot?” Jasmine asked.

“This boot will take us where we’ll need to go. Okay now everyone, touch the boot and hang on until we say let go,” Jasmine looked over at Harry in confusion. Harry gave a shrug and walked over to the boot, Jasmine joined him and touched the boot as Arthur counted down. The group began to propel into the air as they held onto the boot.

“Whoa!” Jasmine yelled in surprise. She had never traveled by portkey before and this made her feel pretty nauseous, her face turning slightly green.

“Let go!” Arthur said. One by one the group began letting go of the boot. Jasmine after gathering herself, finally let go, falling from the sky. She closed her eyes, waiting for the impact, as her stomach churned again. She opened her eyes to see that she was caught by Fred.

“Oh, good catch,” Jasmine said, hopping out of Fred’s arms, and hunching over, throwing up all of her breakfast, earning noises of disgust from the Weasley children.

“Is she okay?” Amos asked, sounding concerned.

“I’m okay...never traveled by port key before. Kind of made me nauseous,” Jasmine said, still hunched over, catching her breath from the effort it took for her to throw up.

“Alright, let’s get going,” Arthur said, walking again. Jasmine stood back up, wiped her mouth, rinsing it out with some water from her canteen. She then continued the hike, sticking by Harry.

“You okay? You seem quiet,” Jasmine said softly.

“Yeah, I just had some trouble sleeping last night. I kept having weird dreams,” Harry told Jasmine, helping her keep her balance, while they climbed over rocks.

“Well, what were they about?” Jasmine asked, walking behind the group with Harry.
