~Time Skip~ (Final Round of the tournament)

Jasmine followed Dumbledore out into the arena with Harry. She saw Cedric with his dad and smiled at him. Cedric smiled back shyly, a bit embarrassed about his dad being there to encourage him. She chuckled softly and looked over at Harry.

“You ready?” she asked.

“No, not really,” he said.

“We find each other, okay? We stick together,” she said. Harry nodded and took Jasmine’s hand, shaking a little.

“Find each other. Stick together,” he repeated. Dumbledore looked at the two, having heard their conversation, and gave a small nod.

“We start at the sound of the c-” Dumbledore began before Filch prematurely set off the cannon. Dumbledore looked up at Filch in annoyance, before looking at the crowd. “Good luck to all of our champions!” Jasmine walked through her maze entrance and saw the light disappear behind her as the maze closed. She took a calming, deep breath and began jogging through the maze, keeping an eye out for Harry.

“Harry!” she whisper shouted. “Harry!” She kept jogging, hiding when she heard heavy footsteps. She ducked behind a hedge, seeing Viktor Krum, who looked around, before turning a corner. Jasmine sighed in relief and jogged in the opposite direction, before bumping into someone, knocking them both down. “Ow! Bloody hell!” she whisper shouted, rubbing her head.

“Sorry,” Harry whispered, rubbing his head as well. Jasmine stood up before helping Harry up and dusting him off.

“It’s fine. Come on, we have to find this cup,” Jasmine whispered. “We have to be careful. Viktor Krum just passed me up earlier. He barely saw me.” Harry nodded and took Jasmine’s hand, heading in the direction he came from.

“I think I know where to go,” Harry whispered. Jasmine nodded and followed him. The two stopped briefly, hearing a terrified scream.

“That was Fleur,” Jasmine whispered. Harry ran in the direction of the scream, Jasmine following behind quickly. They abruptly stopped, seeing a light blue tennis shoe poking out of some moving vines. Jasmine covered her mouth in shock and began to panic. “Harry...”

“It’s okay, Jasmine,” Harry reassured, before he lifted his wand to the sky and sent up red distress sparks. “Someone will come help her. We have to keep going,” Jasmine nodded and grabbed Harry’s hand, running through the maze. They made it to an opening, before Jasmine was sent back, landing hard on her back. Harry ducked behind a hedge quickly, before seeing Viktor Krum pointing his wand at Jasmine. “Jasmine...” he quickly stepped out, ready to protect Jasmine.

“Move!” Harry heard someone yell. He moved back into his hiding spot behind the hedge, before seeing Cedric knock Viktor out with a spell. Cedric then looked over at Harry, before looking at Jasmine. He hurried over to her and helped her up carefully. “Are you okay?”

“I-I think so,” Jasmine said, trying to normalize her breathing. “That fall knocked the wind out of me, but I think I can keep going.” Harry draped Jasmine’s arm around him to help her balance. This was easier since Harry and Jasmine were about the same height.

“Come on. I think it’s close,” Harry said, walking carefully with Jasmine, Cedric following them both. The trio continued to walk, before seeing the glowing cup in the distance. They began to travel faster until Cedric began getting attacked by hedge roots. He sounded distressed and looked at the two for help. Jasmine grabbed her wand and scared the roots away with a spell. Cedric scrambled to his feet and sighed in relief.

“Thanks. I thought you were going to let it get me,” Cedric said.

“I wouldn’t let that happen,” Jasmine reassured, before looking over at the cup. The trio walked up to the cup and stared at it in awe.
