Lee Hyunjin's POV
"She's pretty right commander?" I look at Hyunhee who's sitting beside me on a couch
"Who?" I asked and took a bite of this triangle gimbap I'm holding
"My mom, you've been staring at her since you came back from the convenience store" I'm staring at her???? I didn't even notice that
"A-ahh yes your mom is really pretty" I said and look at the table when I saw Heejin-ssi's phone lit up. I saw some notifications from Hansol? Ohh so her boyfriend's name is Hansol.
I just ignored it and continue eating.
"Can you open this for me Ms Lee?" Jinjin said and I look at the water bottle in her tiny hands
"Sure" I took it from her and twist the cap easily
"Here you go" I gave it back to her and look at Heejin-ssi peacefully sleeping on one of the beds here. They said no one's perfect I'm sure they don't know her that's why they can say that.
Her slightly gray eyebrows, long eyelashes, brown eyes, sharp nose and pink lips screams nothing but perfection. I heard a chuckle and I look at the kid beside me
"Just date my mom already so you can stare at her as long as you want" she said and I was taken aback
Do I like her? I don't know
Do I want to date her? I don't know
She's taken and I don't want to ruin their relationship. And will she be alright to date a woman who looks like her wife who's already dead?
"You don't want to date her because she already have me?" Jinjin pouted and her tears threatening to fall. I quickly shook my head
"It's not like that Jinjin-ah" I cupped her cute little face
"Then why????" she whines
"I still have a lot of things to fix between me and my father"
"So you're not going to date my mom?" dang it does she really wants me to date her mother?
"I dunno. My father wants me to go back to US" her eyebrows furrowed and quickly sat on my lap
"Noooooooo" she whines as she wrapped her arms around my neck. I chuckled and she looks at me, straight in my eyes.
"You're not going back there, right?" she asked with a pout
"I'm still thinking about it" I said
"Don't go commander" she said firmly making me chuckled again
"Wae??" this kid is really something, I'm always smiling everytime I'm with her
"If you go I'm gonna miss you so much" my smile got wider
"Really?" she nodded like an obedient puppy
"Don't go please?" she looks at me with her puppy eyes
"Please Ms Lee?" dammit how can I say no to this kid?
"Pleaseeeeeeee?" she kissed my cheeks and I feel something warm inside my chest
'What the hell is this feeling?' I thought to myself
She started peppering my face with kisses and I giggled. She's cupping my face and pouted her lips.
"Okay okay I won't go" she squeals and hugs me
"Promise?"
"Promise"
