Heejin's POV
I opened my eyes and saw my baby sitting on Hyunjin-ssi's lap. I unconsciously smile and wonder what would it be like if Aeongie was still here. Maybe we already have 2 children or more.
'I want to build a basketball team' her voice echoed in my head. There's one time that I asked her how many children she wants and she said five or more than that.
After seven years I'm still waiting for her. It's still her... Hyunjin-ssi suddenly turns to me and I pretended that I just woke up and got up slowly.
"Jinjin-ah your mommy is awake now" she said and Jinjin got off her lap and runs to me. I picked her up and she peppers my face with kisses. She then place a kiss on my lips and smile widely.
"How's your sleep mommy?" she asked making me smile
"It's good baby" I kissed the tip of her nose and she giggled
"Mom let's eat fried chicken at the chicken place across the school" she said with a charming smile. How can I say no to my baby?
"Okay" she squeals and turn to Hyunjin-ssi
"Commander mommy said she wants to eat fried chicken with you" my eyes widened, when did I say that?
"Eh?.... Okay sure" we made an eye contact and I quickly look away.
Jinjin got down and I hear her soft giggles.
"Let's go now" she grab my hand and Hyunjin-ssi's hand and dragged us out of the school.
Lee Hyunjin's POV
I didn't expect her to invite me to come with her and Jinjin here at the chicken place across the school. I REALLY REALLY want to eat all of the fried chicken but I'm too shy. She might think I'm greedy.
"You should eat more Hyunjin-ssi" Heejin-ssi said and showed me a smile. Damn she looks even better when she smiles.
"You too Heejin-ssi" I pick up a chicken leg and started eating it.
"Mommy can I drink this?" Jinjin asked and pointed the beer in mug. Heejin-ssi quickly moved it away from Jinjin making Jinjin pout.
"No baby that's for adults and not for kids" she said and Jinjin pouted even more
"Hyunhee" Heejin-ssi said firmly and Jinjin nodded. She handed Jinjin an apple juice and kiss the top of her daughter's head. Aww they're so cute. I suddenly wants to have a family..... Wait no what the fuck am I saying?
"Is there something wrong, Hyunjin-ssi? You don't like the food?" she asked making me snapped out of my thoughts
"No no no I like it, I'm just thinking about something" I drink my beer and wipe my lips after.
We finished the chicken and now we're arguing who's gonna pay.
"I'll pay since I'm the one who invited you" she said and I shook my head. There's no way I'm gonna let her pay
"No, I'll pay Heejin-ssi" I said and gave my card to the cashier making her huff.
"I'll pay next time, okay?" she said and I nodded. A big smile plastered on my face.
So there will be next time.
