Lee Hyunjin's POV
We're now eating rice cake skewer that I bought them. We just sat on the bench while eating quietly.
I wipe the sauce on the corner of Eunjin's lips using a tissue and she smiled at me. I ruffled her hair and continue eating.
"Seohyunie" I heard Jinjin called Seohyun and I turned my head towards them. I saw Jinjin wipe the sauce off Seohyun's lips and Seohyun blushed.
I chuckled, how can be a six years old girl can be this whipped?
"Kids we should go back now" I said as I look at my watch. It's already 6:14PM and their parents must be looking for them already.
We started walking back to their houses and Jinjin suddenly held my hand. I look at her and she's smiling at me. I smiled too and just walk.
We're now in front of Jinjin's house, Seohyun and Eunjin already go home. A woman quickly runs towards Jinjin and hugged her.
"Where have you been baby? I went to the school but you're not there" the woman knelt down and I saw her face. How can someone be this beautiful? She's a goddess
"I waited for you to pick me up but you never came so I just decided to go home" Jinjin said with a pout
"Ms Lee took me home mommy" her mom look at me and her eyes widened a little bit
"Commander this is my mom. She's pretty, right?" she said with a wide smile. I unconsciously nodded
"Mom she's the school's new doctor" I make a 45° bow
"I'm Lee Hyunjin"
"K-Kim Heejin" she's more beautiful up close
"Umm thank you for bringing my daughter home" she said and I smiled at her
"No problem Heejin-ssi" I knelt down and level my face to Jinjin's.
"I'm going now Jinjin-ah see you tomorrow" I ruffled her hair and she saluted at me. I chuckled and saluted back. I stand up and Heejin and I have an eye contact.
"Do you need a ride home?" she asked
"Thank you for the offer but my house is just near so no need to give me a ride" I said
"I insist Hyunjin-ssi"
"I just live across your house Heejin-ssi" I said and look at my house just across
"Waaaa so you're our new neighbor from US, commander?" Jinjin said and I nod my head
"O-oh really? I'll pay you a visit when I have a time" I smiled and nodded again
"I'll get going now" I bow at her and go home.
"Oh you're home now noona" Jisung came out of the kitchen and I just plopped myself down on the couch
"Yeah..." I take off my shoes and he put it on the shoe rack
"Thanks Jisung-ah" he smiled at me
"No problem noona" he sat on the couch across me and turn on the TV
"So how did the interview go?" he asked and I showed him a wide smile
"I got a new job again" he got up
"Really?" I nodded and he went to high five me
"That's great noona"
