It's felt like years since mom died, yet it's only been 1. I remember the last day that she was here, how she tried so desperately to make it known that she loves us. Of course we knew that since we were born, but it was a nice parting gift.

Julie has completely given up music since mom died, and honestly, I don't blame her. It's been a hard year, and all music just reminds Jules, that mom is gone.

I haven't given up music. At the start, when mom had just passed, I did hesitate to start the music thing again, but after a while, it felt natural to me again. I just wish that it was as easy for Julie as it was for me. It always hurt me to see Jules hurt.

"Hey dad." I say as I walk into the kitchen.

"Hey kiddo, you off to school?" He asks.

"Yeah, I'm just waiting for Flynn and Julie to be ready."

"They aren't upstairs." He puts a mushroom in his mouth and I look at him confused.

"Did they leave without me?" I say shocked.

"No, Jules is just in moms studio."

"Moms studio?"

"Yep."

"What's she doing in there?" I ask him.

"She sang for the first time today." He says with a smile.

"You're kidding?" I say in compete disbelief.

"Nope, go ask her yourself." I smile and walk to the studio.

As I walk toward it, I see three guys that I've never seen before, looking into the windows on the tops of the doors, to the studio.

"Uh, hello?" I say and they all instantly turn around with shocked faces.

"Julie? How did you get out here so fast?" The one in a leather jacket asks me. The shorter guy standing next to him smacks him over the head.

"That's not Julie, reg." The blond one says.

"Yeah I'm y/n, Julie's twin. So, who are you?" I ask them.

"I'm Luke." The middle one says.

"Reggie." The leather jacket wearer says quickly.

"Alex, hey." The blond one says quietly.

"Are you guys new at school or something?" I ask them.

"No, we're just friends with Julie." The middle one - Luke - says.

"Oh, why haven't I met you before?"

"We only met your sister yesterday." Alex says.

"That makes sense. Well it was nice to meet you guys." I say before walking into the studio to find Julie and Flynn walking out.

"Hey!" Flynn and Julie say together.

"Hey, Jules I think some guys outside are looking for you." I say to her and she frowns.

"Who?"

"They said their names are Alex, Reggie and Luke. I've never seen them before, but they said they're your friends."

"I'll just speak to them later."

"Let's get to school I don't wanna be late." Flynn says pulling Julie and I along.

Julie and I got home a few minutes ago, and we both went our separate ways, to do some homework before dinner.

"What are you guys doing in my room!" I hear Julie say, so I go to her room to see if everything's okay.

As I walk in I see the three guys from this morning, standing around Julie's room.

"You know if dad knew you had three guys in your room he would flip." I say, which causes Julie to look at me.

"You can see them?" She asks with confusion clear in her voice.

"Yeah? We met each other this morning isn't that right boys?" I say while leaning to put my arm on the leather jackets shoulder, but as I put my arm down, it goes directly through him. I look at him in shock, as everyone in the room seems to go deathly silent.

"Haha, very funny Jules, what's with the pranks." I say to her.

"I think you should tell her." Luke says.

"She'll think I'm crazy."

"I already think you're crazy." I say to her.

"Fine. These are the guys, they're ghosts." She says nonchalantly. I laugh as soon as she finishes her sentence, but Julie remains with a straight face.

"Oh my gosh you're serious." I say to her.

"Yeah."

"I'm gonna go now." I run out and to the studio, before anyone can stop me.

I sit on the couch for a few minutes before I feel a presence next to me. I look up and see the Luke guy.

"You really shouldn't scare people like that." I say.

"I know, I'm still getting used to being a ghost." He laughs.

"How is this possible, ghosts don't exist."

"Well I'm here, and I'm a ghost so I think that proves that statement wrong."

"Or maybe I'm just imagining things."

"Maybe I could take you out some time to prove it to you?" He says and I instantly turn my head to look at him funny.

"How is that gonna help with proving it to me?"

"It probably won't, but it would make me really happy?" He says with a pout.

"Yeah okay sure. I have to go." I get up off the couch and head for my room.

There is no way that I just agreed to go on a date with a ghost.
