OHMIGOSH 2.5K VIEWS AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you guys so much you have no idea how amazing you are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry if you think that the title of the chapter is kind of demonic. It just fits and yeah so enjoy!!!

The smell hit me first.

The thick smell of metallic blood hung in the air like a fog in the bloodhouse. It made me nauseous to even think about what happened in here, much less to see it.

I closed my eyes and reminded myself of the task at hand, "find Winston."

I got close to repeating those same words twenty times before I found him.

Knife in hand and poised over a limp animal that was mauled too much to be recognizable.

"Where's my knife?" I put on a hard face and stared at Winston, not daring to look down at the mess of blood and bones.

Winston looked up at me, a smirk on his face that quickly disappeared.

"What are you doing in here? Shouldn't you be showing the Greenie around?"

"My knife," I stuck a hand out expectantly.

Winston's smirk returned and he laughed.

"Give me a second," he turned and walked away, leaving me in the reeking stench of the bloodhouse.

I stood there, bearing the sound of knives slashing through the air for what seemed like hours before a dark tuft of Winston's hair peeked through the doorway.

But, he wasn't alone. He had somehow found Minho and had him following close behind.

"Where is my knife?" I demanded for the second time.

"Here," Minho stuck his free hand in his back pocket and produced my knife.

I stuck out my hand expectantly, "are you going to give it to me or not?"

"Not until you promise not to use it unless you need to. Alby will put a lot of the blame on us if you stab a person for no good reason," Winston had an unnerving smile on his face as he explained the last part.

"I promise," I even threw in a small smile, which probably turned out to be a smirk. "Now can I have it?"

"Yeah," Minho handed the knife to me, handle first. "Just don't cut yourself up again or we'll have to take the shuck thing away from you again and you won't get it back."

I shoved the knife in my boot, being careful to not nick myself.

I turned on my heel and sprinted out of the bloodhouse, sucking in deep breaths of fresh, non blood smelling air as soon as I got into the daylight.

Looking ahead of me I could see a small gathering of Gladers around the lookout tower. That was supposedly where the Greenie was.

"This shank better be worth the fight it will take to get up there," I mumbled under my breath as I jogged over to the growing pack of people.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I know that chapter was pretty short and all, but like I said, I kind of have writers block right now and basketball and all of that other stuff isn't really helping.
I'm going to bring in Teresa in a few chapters so hold tight until then and if you don't like the idea of her coming in you don't have to continue reading.
It's going to be different that the book in the sense that Thomas is going to be in the glade for about a week before Teresa comes instead of two days.
I'll also try to throw in another dream in about two chapters.
Thanks for all of your support and ideas!!! ~Caelyn
