I fluttered my eyes opened and slightly groaned as the sunlight shined on me. I sat up and stretched, I looked to my side and almost screamed.
Jack accidentally feel asleep here. I blushed a bit as I stare for a minute. I sigh, he must've been exhausted like the rest of us. I move some pieces of his hair from his face and he is slightly warm. Strange, isn't he supposed to be cold most of the time?
He was fast asleep, snoring a bit with his mouth slightly hanging open. I snickered and carefully tip-toed away from him.

The workshop was dark and chilly, I wrapped my wings around my arms as I quietly started exploring the place.
Honestly I never got the chance to admire how beautiful this place was. Each room was decorated beautifully, the furniture was rather large with beautiful knitted blankets with gorgeous designs. The color scheme was quiet comforting, I swear if I owned this place I'd never leave.
As I was walking I noticed a room that was rather large, assuming it was some sort of dinning room, I opened the two large doors and my jaw dropped,
It was a library. A huge library.

I was amazed. I never thought North would love books this much... I never was much of a bookworm, nor do I remember the last time I touched a book..
I looked through the shelves that were filled with books and there were so many interesting books! Out of all the books, I saw one that was bright blue. I pulled it out from the shelf and the title said "Winter Falls" I opened the book, curious, I began to read.
Winter Falls was a popular forest during the 1600's for people that had to flee their town / city. It was a perfect place that provided food, water, bathing area, and enough trees to built cabins.
Strangely lots of people reported feeling "haunted" by a dark force. Lots of people referred to this haunted feeling as "Pitch's Prey."
Just by reading that I almost slammed the book shut. Does this story have to do with Pitch? Or is it just my imagination... I opened the book again to continue where I left off.
Some even spotted this creature. Many describe him as a dark figure that had black dust surround him, he wore a black robe and had thing arms and legs, grey like skin, and piercing yellow eyes. He also had black animals (usually horses) with him time to time.
Some people said that he mostly preyed on children. He wouldn't hurt them, but give them nightmares and plant intrusive thoughts into their heads... Sometimes driving them to insanity.
Because of this, many people had to return to their town / city because of this haunting. Many were saddened, but many we're grateful to be able to still return back before Pitch could completely affect their children.
I felt my heart beat faster than usual. But I still had some questions; why was he haunting people? It's a dumb question but...I just want a answer. Maybe if I got one, I could use that against him, and defeat him.
