Jack huffed as he flew to the window and watched Avery turn off the lights, she turned around and yelped when she saw someone staring at her. "EEP!"
Jack opened the window and chuckled. "Sorry for scaring you." He grinned. "Oh," Avery sighed with relief. "It's you, Jack. Don't scare me like that..." She lightly punched him in the arm as he giggled.
"Hey, do you wanna go outside?" Jack asked, pointing outside. Avery rubbed her arm before she rolled her eyes, giving in. "Why not, I could use the fresh air." They both exchanged a smile before she stood on the railing. "Wow i've never noticed how high this is-"
Jack interrupted her by pushing her off. "AH! JACK?!" She flapped her wings as she yelled at him, her face turning red by the sudden fear. He bursted out laughing. "HAHA! Sorry! B-but...you should've seen your face!" He held his stomach as he laughed more. Avery puffed her cheeks as she used her magic to collect some snow from the ground and form a snow ball, throwing it, not expecting it to hit his face..
She covered her mouth, holding back her giggles as Jack wiped away the snow.
"Oh it's on, princess."
"Princess?" She interrupted him, blushing. "I mean yeah...aren't you one? You wear a dress and I mean- you really look like one."
She gave a unimpressed look and threw another snowball at him. "Cut the compliments!" She smirked, flying off. "Aw come on." He laughed as he flew behind her.
The two had a snowball / tag fight, a wonderful fun time full of laughter and smiles.
"I'm winning!" Avery said as she flew fast in the sky, spinning around. "Whatever, princess." Jack rolled his eyes. "Stop calling me that!" She whined.
Jack flew in front of her. "How about...no." He smirked as he hit a snowball in her face, causing her to accidentally stop flying. "ACK-" "Gotcha!" He caught her as they both stared at each other for a moment before Avery started snickering.
"What?" Jack asked. "Your blushing~" Avery cooed.
Jack let go of her, crossing his arms.
"Am not!" "Are too!" She teased.
"Your no fun, cold stuff." She chuckled and rolled her eyes, flying off.
Jack growled and flew with her. They both spun in the air, the moonlight shining bright on both of them.

Jacks P.O.V
We were both flying in the sky, the moon was bright and gorgeous, and it reflected on Averys light skin. She giggled as she flew faster as I caught up.
"Tag!" I poke her and fly fast away. She gives a shocked expression before chasing after me.
"Haha! Can't catch me!" I said teasingly, sticking my tongue out.
"Oh, you really wanna bet that?" She tagged me. "Tag, you're it, loser!" She laughed. "Loser? Wow, what a bully..." I pouted.
She flew near the water as it barely touched her skin.
I landed on the water (one of the benefits of being a guardian) and ice immediately started spreading from my feet.
"Woah..." Her eyes widened. "Cool right? You can do that too, ya know."
She looked down nervously as she pointed her foot at the water, closing her eyes, she stepped on it and gold spread around the water.
"Woah!" She exclaimed as she giggled. We both laughed as we spun on the water.
[Play music now]
Authors P.O.V
"Care for a dance?" Jack held his hand out as she chuckled, placing her hand on his. Avery rolled her eyes, chuckling. "Oh, Jack...you're so weird." They both started slow dancing, sometimes breaking out in giggles from the slight awkwardness.
They started swaying around, Jack wrapping his arm around her waist as she smiled, looking at him through his eyes. Their feet smoothly soaring on the water, as the cold air swooped in their hair.
Their smiles softening as they simply admired each other eyes. Jack drew closer to her face as she slightly backed away, their noses barely touching as they danced a bit slower.
Avery looking at Jacks blue eyes, and Jack looking at her deep brown eyes. She slowly started wrapping her arms around his neck, slightly looking away, a bit embarrassed.
A glowing feeling formed in their hearts.
As time went slow, and the moonlight shined, it was only them, together.
And in that moment, they both realized...they loved each other.
