I could tell she was holding in her sadness, she was invisible, just like I was on one point...

"Don't worry! I bet...there are other believers."
"I doubt that."
I sighed, taking her hand. "Let's go back to the north pole, I have something to show you."

I choked back tears as I watch kids run right through me. I felt like a ghost, I mean, not gonna lie that's basically what I was...
"Don't worry! I bet...there are other believers" Jack tried helping but it was at the point where I was irritated.
"I doubt that."

I felt him grab my hand as I felt warm. "Let's go back to the north pole, I have something to show you."

We both flew back to the north pole, and it was dark, chilly as always.
He walked to Norths large globe and started messing around with it. "What are you doing?" I asked.

"There," He mumbled "Here are all the kids who believe in you"
I flew to the globe and started spinning it...where are the lights? "Is this thing broken? I don't see any lights." I looked at Jack and he seemed rather sad. "Each light represents each kid that believes, your light color is supposed to be white...but-"

I kept spinning it and there were no lights. "But no
one believes..." I sighed.
"It's no use. No one believes in me...why am I even here?" I looked at Jack. "Why am I even a guardian?" I sarcastically chuckled as I shook my head.

Jack stood next to me as he watched the globe stay dark. "Because the moon chose you, and he never makes mistakes" He grinned. I looked at him, his eyes softened as he smiled a bit. "We have a similar story, you know." He looked back at the globe. "I guess."I slumped, pouting. "No kids believed in me for most of my life as a guardian," I looked at him. "I mean...you already knew that." He chuckled.

"It just doesn't seem fair," I rubbed my temples. "What could I be doing wrong? I'm doing all these things daily, I look after the kids, I grant luck...and I'm alone." My voice becomes brittle as I tilt my head back.

I feel him place his hand on mine, I feel my heart skip a beat almost, my expression softens as we hold a gaze. "Not anymore, you have us."

I genuinely smile, maybe I'm not too alone as it seems.

*RUMBLE*

The floor aggressively shook as the room became darker than it already was. "What's going on?!" I yell. "I'm not-" Jack squinted his eyes, "Pitch." He said in a deep tone.

Feeling my heart drop, I watched as Jack started flying around trying to find him. He looked angry...really...angry. "SHOW YOURSELF" He yelled.

Demonic laughing could be heard as the floor kept shaking.
"Ohh look who it is! Mr. Fun times"

"UGHHH!" Jack started shooting ice from his staff at random places, I yelled in surprised as I backed up. I watched him carefully hoping he could hit Pitch.

"You can't get ME! I have become more powerful than you'll ever imagine..."
Pitch rose from the ceiling as a shadow as black dust started surrounding the places.

Pitch gripped on the globe as Jack shot him with ice as he groaned.
I watched as all this happened, I knew I had to do something! But what?

Feeling something cold surround my arms tightly, I saw the dust. I panicked, watching Pitch turn the globe black as a large gust of wind flew into the workshop. Now all the lights went out from the globe.

Does that mean...

Jack yelled angrily as a fusion of his and Pitch's power exploded, making a bright light. He breathed heavily as Pitch disappeared, but not his dust.
I could feel some grip on my neck as it started choking me.

He finally noticed and gasped, shooting the dust and flying to me. "Are you ok?!" he placed his hands on my shoulder. "Yes...but, what just happened?!"
Jack's lip quivered as he struggled to keep eye contact with me, looking at the cracked globe, he flew to it.

"No more kids believe...
In any of the guardians"
