CHAPTER 1

Sesshomaru and Jaken's feet stepped into the village that is now destroyed, ashes, broken houses, dead bodies, and blood are covering the land. As soon as Sesshomaru sees the scenery in front of him, his heart beats rapidly, he can feel his heart going out of his chest. Worry was showing in his eyes.
Kiara...
"Oh Lord Sesshomaru, this is a disaster! Where might Lady Kiara be?" Jaken said still looking around with his hand covering his nose and mouth because of the ashes that were flying away.
Sesshomaru didn't answer. He can't answer. He tilts his head up and sniffs the air. He can smell Kiara's scent along with the scents of other demons...lots of demons.
"Demons" Sesshomaru muttered
Jaken looked up at his Lord with a confused face. "Demons my Lord? but this village is protected by Lady Kiara's barrier, it's strong enough to keep demons away from this village...from her or from the jewel she holds"
'He's right, but why has this village been burned to the ground? '
Sesshomaru sniffed the air again hoping to follow the scent of Kiara. For him to find her whereabouts, but he caught another scent.
'What's this? another unpleasant smell'
"Lord Sesshomaru look!" Jaken shouted.
Sesshomaru looked at where his servant was pointing and there he found a broken bow.
Sesshomaru walked picked up the bow and examined it. It has blood in it. He put it closer to his nose and smelled it.
It's Kiara's blood! He felt his eyes turn red. Why is Kiara's blood in this bow?!
"Lady Kiara put up a fight my Lord," Jaken suddenly stated while looking around and touching the arrow that Kiara used to kill the demons.
"The greed of those demons to become stronger..tsk " he continued
'They think they will be stronger with the help of a jewel?... "Pathetic" Sesshomaru scoffed
Sesshomaru grip the bow on his hand hard. He doesn't know where Kiara might be if she is still alive or not. Whoever did this will pa-
"Lord Sesshomaru!!!" "Lord Sesshomaru!!" "My Lord!!"
Sesshomaru and Jaken turned around because of the sudden calls. There they saw some men from this village.
Sesshomaru quickly makes his way towards them with Jaken following behind with his staff in his hand.
The villagers bow paying their respect. Sesshomaru looks down at them eyeing their clothes that are covered with blood and dirt.
"Tell me, where is Kiara?" Sesshomaru asks with a blank face.
"L-l-ord S-e-sshomaru" one of the men stuttered. He can't look at Sesshomaru straight in the eye because of the Lord's piercing eyes.
Sesshomaru squinted his eyes.
"Answer the question quickly mortal! Don't make Lord Sesshomaru wait. What happened here?!" Jaken ranted while shaking his staff in the air.
"Ah yes!" The villagers panicked. "Demons attacked us! They broke the barrier and attacked us!"
"Broke the barrier?" Sesshomaru ask
"Yes, my Lord! They broke it" the man repeated
"How did they break Kiara's barrier?" Sesshomaru asks completely confused
"We still don't know, but they are very strong! They're with a demon. A strong demon, he also wounded Lady Kiara" the man answered, being scared was written on his face
"Who is this demon that managed to hurt Kiara?" The young Lord asks while his eyes get redder each second.
" His name is Naraku, my Lord, because of the demons he carried a while ago and their forces, we stood no chance. Lady Kiara saw that so she let us run-
Sesshomaru head turns to the man 'What?'
-she gave the sacred jewel to us and said we must seek refuge with Lady Kikyo, we know it's the Jewel they are after but once they got a hold of it, it will be over. So.... We run" The men look down, ashamed that they left their priestess behind.
"We gave the jewel to Lady Kikyo and returned here as quickly as possible hoping we could help her but we can't see any sign of her," the men said as tears started to fall from the other men's eyes.
"Oh my Lord Sesshomaru, what do we do?" Jaken asked and looked up to his Lord, he saw Sesshomaru gritting his teeth.
Jaken shivers as his Lord releases and very strong demonic aura ' Oh shit, he's angry'
Jaken backed away a little while sweating.
Sesshomaru turns his attention to the villagers "Rebuild your village or go back to this priestess Kikyo, I will go now"
And Sesshomaru started to walk away.
"Lord Sesshomaru wait for me!!!" Jaken runs but trips causing his staff to smack him "Oof!! " He stands up quickly and catches up to his Lord.
"Lord Sesshomaru, how about Lady Kiara?!?!" The men ask
Sesshomaru stopped walking and glanced black at the corner of his eye but he didn't turn around. "Tch" and started to walk away again with Jaken following behind.
The villagers stay frozen while watching the Dog demon's back slowly vanish behind the dark forest.
Lady Kiara...where might you be?

Sesshomaru can hear her voice, he can remember the last words she said before this happened...
Sesshomaru's grip on the bow tightened.
"Kiara."

So yes, I know it's horrible, I'm not good at writing third-person point of view so yeah... Anyway please comment on the mistakes I made, grammatical errors, and spellings, and I will fix it immediately.
