Kiara's POV:
As long as I set aside the branches that were blocking my way, my eyes darted at the man in front of me with a child in his arm cuddling him.
My heart beat rapidly when his eyes darted into my own.
His golden piercing eyes that I long for, his beautiful white hair, sharp jaw, soft lips... His everything.
It's him..
My love
He looked back at me with so many emotions in his eyes. Longing, regret, and relief are shown. My hands went up to my mouth as tears started to form in my eyes. Any minute now it will fall.
I let go of my bow and my legs started to move running towards him longing for his touch. He hands our son down to Jaken. I smiled remembering his loyal servant. Jaken bowed down and carried our beloved son.
Sesshomaru steps forward anticipating what is about to come. When I reached where he was, my arms snaked tightly around his neck not wanting to let go. Even with one arm, I felt the warmth of his embrace. He caresses my head whispering comfort things to me.
"Kiara, my love... I'm here...shhh. I'm here now." Sesshomaru softly whispered.
My tears won't stop falling as I embrace him tightly.
"I...I miss you so much!" I cried out to him.
"I miss you too... I'm so glad you're alright. I'm sorry my love." He whispers again.
"I'm sorry for not being there." He added.
I nodded still crying accepting his apology. I can't think of anything right now but him. But then suddenly my eyes darted toward my son...
I let go of Sesshomaru and went towards Jaken to hold my son. Jaken handed me Kouta and I embraced him very tight.
He looked confused at first but then I saw realization hit his face. He remembers my presence and scent.
"Ma- Mama?" He cutely said while tears started to fall from his eyes.
"Yes yes, It's Mama my baby" I comforted him even though I couldn't comfort myself. I felt very overwhelmed.
I felt Sesshomaru in front of us and touch his son's face. I look up at him and he touches our forehead together while holding me and our son.
"It's our son." I softly say still tears rolling down my face while smiling.
He nodded and looked at us with a soft face.
"Yes, it's our son."
His hard face vanished when he looked at us. It was replaced by the face of a father and husband finally relieved that his family was in his arms safe and sound.
"I love you both" he softly says.
