Present time:
Kagome's POV:
"Dammit! That bastard Naraku keeps escaping!" Inuyasha blurted out. We're currently here in Kaede's house, Kikyo's younger sister.
"Calm down Inuyasha" Miroku's trying to calm this half-dog demon down. He's the total opposite of his older brother Sesshomaru.
Anyway, Naraku escaped again...we almost got him too. I looked up and saw everyone eating the Japanese food I bought with me.
"I can't believe my shards were stolen." I sighed.
Inuyasha looked at me "It's just a jewel shard Kagome, don't fret about it. We can just look for it again."
"Yeah but-"
"It's not like she got all the shards. We'll just look for the others" Inuyasha cut me off and continued eating.
I look at him weirdly
"Why is Inuyasha so understanding?"Sango whispers to Miroku.
"Maybe because it's Kikyo who stole the jewel shards from Kagome" Miroku whispers back.
Well, they are quite right...
Inuyasha's ears twitch
"HUHH???!! IF YOU THINK I'M BEING CONSIDERATE THEN YOU GUESS WRONG!" He stands up, making weird gestures with his hands.
We just look at him and stay silent. Inuyasha looks at me with the same creepy eyes.
"What??!! Do you think so too?!?! Then say it to my face!!" He ranted at me but I stayed quiet.
Oh Inuyasha, I mentally facepalm.
"That's enough" We turned to the entrance and saw Lady Kaede walking in.
"Lady Kaede you're back!" Shippo greeted her and jumped to her. We all greeted her and then went back to our seat
"Hmph!" Inuyasha sulks in the corner while sitting like a dog.
"I think Lady Kiara can help," Kaede said making us all confused.
Who is Lady Kiara? I never heard of her before. I looked at everyone and saw their confused expressions. Except Sango though, she looks like she's trying to remember something.
"LADY KIARA!" Sango suddenly shouted making me flinch. "I remember now!"
"What do u mean Sango?" Shippo asks and jumps onto her shoulders.
"Do you know of this lady Kiara?" Miroku asks.
"Sounds familiar" Inuyasha blurted out making us look at him.
"What do u mean Inuyasha?" I ask him
"Well, I just felt like I heard that name before" as he scratches his ears.
"Well, Lady Kiara is a priestess." Lady Kaede answered our question.
"A Priestess??"
" And She's the first guardian of the Shikon Jewel" Sango said which made our jaw drop.
" I remember my father telling me that the Shikon Jewel was handed to her because she's a powerful priestess. She is capable enough to guard it," she explains
Our jaw drops once again. Wow, but why is the Shikon Jewel with Kikyo?
"What happened to her?" Miroku asked
"It's just that one day the people from her village came to us holding the Jewel. There's a protective barrier around them and we can't seem to come close to them at first, but my sister broke that barrier and they handed the jewel to my sister." Kaede explained.
