Priestess' Warmth (Slow Update)

Chapter 6

Kiara's POV:
I'm currently walking in the middle of the forest. I have to somehow find a village first.

"ROAR!!"  A loud growl stopped me in my tracks. I looked to my left and saw a demon coming towards me at full speed.

"HAND ME THAT SHARD!!!" The demon shouted. I raised my hands with open palms facing the demon.

I released my spiritual power releasing a bright white light and next thing you know, the demon turned to ashes.

I opened my hand and looked at the shard.
I don't remember shattering the Jewel. So why is it in pieces?

" None of you deserve the Shikon Jewel."

I hid the jewel in my pocket and continued my journey to find a village. I have to rest, I feel exhausted.  After that, I will look for Naraku.

But I have to see Sesshomaru too.

Sigh

I reached a cliff and below it was a village. I felt relieved to see a village so I immediately went down to look for the head of the village.

An old man approached me"Good-" he stopped mid-sentence when he saw my face.

"Lady Kiara?!"

I just smiled at him "Is there any place I can stay for the night?" I asked gently.

"I-I'm it y-you?!, Of course! There is follow me, My lady!" The old man panicked.

I followed him behind. "May I ask why do you know my name?"

"I'm from your old village my lady," he said.

My heart warmed. I felt relieved and happy that I was able to protect people from that attack. They lived long

"I see, it's relieving to see you." I smiled at him. "Do you perhaps see Sesshomaru somewhere?"

We reached the inn and we entered. I surveyed and sensed no danger so I felt more relaxed.

"I'm sorry my lady but I'm afraid I haven't seen him since the day you vanished. He's been looking for you" the man explained.

I remained silent until someone called the attention of the head
"I needed to go my lady"

I nodded at him and waved goodbye.

So Sesshomaru is looking for me huh? I know he can smell my scent. So maybe I could just stay here for a while until he found out where I am right now.

I smiled when I remembered him. I can't help but feel the butterflies in my stomach when I remember his words.

My face heated when our kisses popped up in my mind.

"I love you"

I sat on the chair next to the bed and thought of a plan.

How will I reach Naraku? What changed when I was sealed? Where is he? Who can be my allies?

So many questions are in my mind right now and I need to figure these out.
Will Naraku come to me? Or I'm the one who will be coming after him.

I'm sure it reached his ears that I am back so I am certain that he will make his move soon.

I should find Kikyo first if she holds the rest of the jewel. But I also have to find out why it is shattered. Maybe to protect it from Naraku? Or did someone shatter it?

Hold on... Why am I free??? That's it! I have to find out who freed me or how.

So I had to go back to the village where I was sealed.
As much as I want to stay here and wait for Sesshomaru I have to move fast before Naraku reaches me.

Damn him, I will not let him do the same thing again.

My thinking stopped when I sensed a demonic aura lingering outside. This is bad. When I looked outside, it was very peaceful and quiet. But then I saw a priestess standing just near the forest.

I look closely and.....
