They followed Ignis advice and entered the Olympic Coliseum to make the final Cup which they won. After that, they followed the coordinates that the Princesses gave them and soon found the place where Ansem should be hiding.
Byleth: They were right. This place is full of darkness.
Sora: And somewhere in there is Ansem. Are you guys ready?
They all nodded and soon landed in a cave and went out. There was nothing than purple water and sky and rocks and on the other side was something that looked like a portal
Goofy: Gwarsh, is that all that's left of the worlds taken by the Heartless?
Sora: This world will be restored if we beat Ansem, right?
Donald: You betcha.
Byleth: I hope so. But if Ansem is defeated, the worlds will be restored and disconnected. What will happen with this place and us?
Donald: Well, uh...
Goofy: This is a Heartless world, so maybe it'll just disappear. *the three look shocked at him* But no worries. Even if this place goes poof, our hearts ain't goin' nowhere. I'm sure we'll find our pals again. Yup, I just know that we will.
Sora: Yeah, you're right. *looks at Kairi's key chain * *thinks* I'll return this. I promise.
They found it strange that the were able to walk over the water but didn't question it. After the some fights against Heartless that were looking more darconic they reached the portal. Before they could enter appeared another Behemoth. Sora remembered that Ignis was hitting the horn all the time, so they did it too, with Byleth pulling the horn down with her Keyblade while the others punched, slashed and shot at the horn until it vanished. They were fully exhausted so they used some potions and moved on. They finally entered the portal and arrived in a room of enternal darkness with light pillars.
Byleth: What is this place? *touches one pillar* Neverland?
Donald: There's Atlantica.
Goofy: Looks like a prison of the worlds.
Sora: Looks like some kind of strange smoke...
Sora touched one of them and they were suddenly in a passage with a blue door. He opened it and in there was another room with a large machine connected with a computer terminal and five cylinders and filled with some sort of liquid. Donald touched a button and on the terminal was something written.
"Ones born of the heart and darkness, devoid of hearts, ravage all worlds and bring desolation. Seize all hearts and consummate the great heart. All hearts to be one, one heart to encompess all. Realize the destiny: the realm of Kingdom Hearts. The great darkness sealed within the great heart. Progeny of darkness, come back to the eternal darkness. For the heart of light shall unseal the path. Seven hearts, one Keyhole, one key to the door. The door of darkness, tied by two keys. The door of darkness to seal the light. None shall pass but shadows, returning to the darkness. Ones born of the heart and darkness, hunger for every heart until the dark door opens."
Sora: What should that mean?
Byleth: No idea. Huh? *turns around and they see more Heartless* I'm not sure but it seems they came all from this machine. We're somehow in Hollow Bastion.
Sora: Let's take care of them!
They defeated them all but before Byleth took one step more, she stopped and looked back at the machine.
Donald: Byleth! Come we must go on!
Byleth: One moment. *raises her arm at the machine so a magical seal appeared before her and a powerful fire ball came out to the machine, making it explode* Now we can go. *grabs a startled Donald by the collar and drags him with her*
