Hermione sat with Ron and Harry in an otherwise empty compartment on the Hogwarts express. The three of them were discussing what the year may bring them. Their 6th year, it seems like just yesterday Hermione got her acceptance letter to Hogwarts, she still feels so new to the wizarding world. Ron and Harry soon were talking about the girls they wanted to, but never will ask out. Hermione was looking out the window enjoying the view of the countryside when Ron nudged her with his elbow,
"So Hermione thinking bout any shirtless guys," Hermione was slightly appalled by the question, she retaliated,
"Honestly Ron, do you really think that's all-girls think about," Ron only shrugged. Hermione scoffed and stood up leaving the compartment. She wandered down the narrow hall of the train when she found a nearly empty compartment. Just one girl sitting there reading an old book that seemed to be in another language. She opened the compartment and spoke,
"Do you mind if I sit here everywhere else is full," The girl only gestured for her to sit. Hermione took note of the book and became curious, "What are you reading, I don't believe I recognize the language," The other girl looked up, shut the book, and looked at the cover.
"Besting your enemies and Betraying your friends, written in German," The girl's voice was a low hum. Her accent although British seemed fake. Hermione nodded and responded with another question,
"What year are you in." The girl responded simply,
"7th," Hermione had a strange interest in this girl. She didn't quite recognize her but at the same time felt like she knew her fully. She watched as the girl opened her book and continued to read. Hermione followed by pulling out and reading a book of her own.
