Third Person POV

"So you're dating him now?" Lia asks as Haknyeon sits forward in his seat, as Sungyoon's eyes widen.

"I don't even know," Heiji places her head in her hand that was leaning on the table. "He's barely out of a relationship, it all feels a bit too fast."

"What?" Sungyoon blinks quickly, looking at the two girls and Haknyeon as though they know something he doesn't, which they do. "What is going on?"

"Heiji's dating a guy who works here," Haknyeon says quickly as he turns back to the girl.

"What about Seoho?"

"What about him?" Haknyeon turns his head to face the boy.

"I just thought they were a thing, sorry," the boy throws his hands up in defence as he looks at Heiji. "Don't worry, if you don't want me to say anything then I won't, you know that."

"I do," Heiji smiles at the boy. "Thank you."

Sungyoon and Heiji were never the closest of the group, truth be told he had a lot more friends than this group, he just preferred their company more despite being closer with other people. Sungyoon was a year older than the rest of them, it made him more protective over them, especially Heiji. Heiji had helped him a lot through his most recent heartbreak, she talked him up so much that he gained back his confidence and had the realisation that he didn't need love to make him happy. He was forever grateful for her, and if he thought that Seoho had hurt her in anyway, he wouldn't be scared to abandon his friendship with him for her.

"What happened with you two?" Sungyoon asks the girl, staring intently at her as though to say 'he better not have hurt you'.

Heiji shakes her head at the boy, not wanting to go into all of the details regarding the incident. Maybe if they had time alone she would explain, not when Hyunjae and him were due to appear any minute. "It's a long story, I'll tell you some other time."

Heiji was nervous, it was the first time the group had met since the incident with Seoho and Jinsoul, they hadn't spoken since.

As though on que, Hyunjae's loud, contagious laughter was heard from outside the café as he walked in with Seoho giggling by his side.

"Boyfriends," Haknyeon rolled his eyes before turning to face the two before they sat down. "What takes you two so long every time we meet up? Are you kissing around the corner before coming in?"

"Shut up," Hyunjae grabs the boy and attempts to kiss his face. "Does jealous Jeju want a kissy-wissy too?"

"Ew, as if," he playfully wrestles with the boy as everyone looks on laughing. Seoho sits the furthest away from Heiji as he could, which was noticeable to literally everyone around the table. "So you admit you were kissing!"

"I will hit you," Hyunjae warns, glaring at the boy. "How is everyone today?"

Hyunjaes eyes travel around the table whilst everyone replies, a sea of "I'm good"s or "I'm fine"s emerge as Heiji stays silent, just nodding in agreement with everyone else.
