Third Person POV

"Please tell me this is the right one," Heiji feels a tap on her shoulder as she's waiting in the halls for Sunwoo, instead she turns to be greeted by Seoho. "It's a different colour, I don't know if they changed the packaging."

Heiji studies the little bottle, before smiling and giving a thumbs up to Seoho. "That's the one."

"Thank god," he laughs, handing it over to her as silence washes over them.

"You didn't have to do this," Heiji twirls the mascara packaging in her hand. "What can I get you as a 'sorry gift'?"

"Nothing," the boy answers. "I swear, just being your friend again is good enough."

Despite the boy generally being quiet and reserved with his words, sometimes he did hit out with some sappy stuff that even made himself cringe, but he meant what he said. If he couldn't love the girl and give her what she needs, then he'll simply have to make do with just being in her life as her friend. Or does he?

"I better get going," Seoho announces, trying to defer from the awkward silence that fell upon them, but before he even gets the chance to say anything else, someone appears beside Heiji, eyeing the boy. "I'll see you guys later."

Sunwoo looks at the man suspiciously, then back at Heiji. "Is everything alright?"

"Nice to see you too," Heiji says sarcastically, pulling him in for a hug. "Everything's fine, why?"

"Nothing, sorry," the boy bites down on his tongue to stop him from speaking words of the green eyed monster. "Are you guys okay now?"

"I told you we had talked," the two begin to walk towards the car park. "He's okay, he bought me something to make up for what happened."

Sunwoo's eyes widened. What was this guy playing at? "What was the gift?"

"Just this mascara," she showed Sunwoo the package, innocently - not really thinking much of it. Sunwoo's mind however, was running in circles. He even remembered tiny details such as the type of mascara she used? He felt as though it was some sort of competition, although it wasn't. He could barely remember what he had for breakfast this morning, never mind an item he could find in Heiji's handbag. "Hey, you alright?"

Sunwoo snaps out of his daydream, "I'm fine, sorry." As they approach the car, he opens the door for Heiji, as always.

"Where would you like to go?" Sunwoo asks the girl beside him.

"Anywhere," Heiji replies. She didn't like saying anywhere in case she came off as being difficult or too indecisive, but she truly didn't mind. As long as they spent time together, it was grand.

"I have an idea."

Heiji wrapped her scarf around her neck, and Sunwoo buttoned his jacket up higher as the two walked towards the twinkling, flashing lights.
