Third Person POV

The following days for Sunwoo were brutal. He found himself spiralling again, except for this time - he had no where to run.

He couldn't go back to the other side of the country, he promised her he wouldn't leave her again, and he wouldn't, even if she was with someone else. It wasn't as though he hadn't done it before.

The boy tried to tell himself that what he saw was nothing, that she was hurting and she could have been drunk. He did wait in his car for a long time, and he had no clue why. He told himself that he should leave, there was no use in waiting, but he didn't listen. And this is what he got.

Another heartbreak.

He felt angry, part of him wanted to storm inside the house and pull whoever that bastard was off of her. The thoughts raced through his mind, if she was drunk, was someone taking advantage of her state? Or was she doing this to get over the pain he had caused her? Even worse, was she doing it because she really wanted to? Did she love someone else?

It was better, however, that he didn't know who the person was. He didn't want the image of her and whoever it was together, doing unimaginable things that only he should have been doing with her. For their sake, he didn't want to know who it was, because Sunwoo was fearful of the rage that would take over from him if he ever found out.

"Where are you going?" His sister peaks her head out from behind her room door, hearing the floorboards creak, signalling Sunwoo had finally left his room for the first time in almost a week.

"Just out," Sunwoo smiles lightly at the girl, ruffling her hair as he walks past. "I'll be home later."

The girl stays quiet, fearful that he wouldn't return. "You promise?"

Another promise he has to keep. "I promise."

He throws her one last smile and a quick pinch at her cheek, before jogging down the stairs. He wanted to quickly sweep out of the house without anyone seeing, but he was unsuccessful.

"Where are you going?" He hears his mother call from the living room.

"I'm just going out," Sunwoo sighs, walking in to see just his mother sat, before explaining again. "I'll be back later."

"Where are you going?" His mother repeats. Ever since he left, she wanted to remain cautious to her sons whereabouts.

"I don't know," he blurts. "I just need out, I need fresh air. I'll drive somewhere, I'll be home for 10, is that okay?"

His mother sighs, she wanted to trust the boy so badly but she felt as though she couldn't. She however knew he couldn't gain her trust if she didn't give him the opportunity to prove or disprove her. "Okay. Please text me when you're coming home."

"Okay," Sunwoo breathes out, giving his mother a smile. "I will. Bye, eomma."

He was glad his father wasn't quite home yet. Their relationship only soured when Sunwoo appeared back at their doorstep. They couldn't not let him back in, but that didn't mean his father would take it easy on him.
