Third Person POV

Three years later;

"My baby," Heiji's mother puts a hand to her mouth to stop herself from crying as she looks at her daughter before her. "You look beautiful."

"Why are you crying?" Heiji asks, tilting her head at the woman. "You'll ruin your makeup."

"My girl," she almost whimpers. "You're so grown up."

"Mother, I'm barely 24," Heiji shakes her head, laughing at the woman whilst pulling her into a hug.

She pulls away, her mother's eyes wandering everywhere, fixing her hair and caressing her face - although being careful to not smudge her makeup.

"Every mother has the right to be emotional at her daughters graduation," she pokes the girls cheek, fixing the sleeve on the girls dress. "Your father would be so proud."

Heiji smiles, swallowing the lump in her throat. "Are we ready to go?"

"Hey you!" Kevin shouts, opening his arms as Heiji runs to him. "You look great."

"As do you," Heiji smiles up at the boy. "It's a shame you're not graduating with us."

"I wouldn't miss being here for the world, though," he points out. "I'll be cheering you on when they call your name."

Heiji looks up at the boy with a cocked eyebrow, "that doesn't sound too promising."

"Wooooooo!" The boy exclaims, earning a playful shove from Heiji. "Speaking of woo, your man is approaching."

Heiji turns to see the boy walking towards the two, he wore a smart shirt and tie, his black hair bounced with every step he took. Kevin patted her on the back, walking away assumably to his seat.

Even three years on, Heiji was still taken aback by his beauty. "Hi."

"Hi," he grins down at her, pulling her waist closer for a hug before whispering into her ear, "you look beautiful."

"Shh," she shakes her head as he pulls away. "Oh, hi Mr. Kim."

"Hello Heiji," the man bows to her as he also pulls her in for a small hug. "Congratulations."

"She hasn't graduated yet," Sunwoo sasses to his father. "And where's my congratulations?"

His father playfully nudged the boy, and it made Heiji's heart happy that she was able to see a better relationship between the two develop over the years.

Sunwoo was happy too, although he was adamant that their relationship was solved by the girls involvement in his life. Which of course, wasn't a bad thing.

"Well," the man announces as Heiji's mother approach them. "Once we meet my wife we'll be seated together, I'm assuming?"

Heiji's mother nods at the man, as they turn to face their children. "Good luck, guys."
