Third Person POV

Heiji's chat with her friends only left her feeling more confused than she once was, if that was even possible.

For weeks, she had been doing her best to push Sunwoo to the back of her mind, especially after his little stunt at the café. She found that being so angry at him allowed her to successfully forget about him, but that was until she had to tell her friends everything.

The questions Haknyeon asked, however, stuck in her brain. The group could see the ticking in Heiji's brain and decided to leave the conversation there and enjoy the rest of the night, relaxed and care-free.

That was only a couple nights ago, and currently Heiji was working another late shift. She didn't mind so much these days, speaking to people and keeping busy really kept her mind off things that were bothering her so much. Whereas before, tidying shelves and dealing with the public wasn't her ideal weekday night.

As she bends down to fix the shelves behind her feet containing the store tobacco, she hears the clicking sound of products being placed on the counter before her. Turning, she sees the long black hair and cannot doubt who is before her.

"Jiwoo, hey," Heiji nods as Jiwoo throws her a smile. "How are you?"

"I'm good," she replies rather bluntly, still smiling as she rummages through her small cross body bag looking for her purse. "I didn't know you worked here."

"Yeah, part time to help pay the bills." Heiji laughs awkwardly, nodding as Jiwoo looks up at her with a certain look upon her face.

"And how is Seoho?" She asks suddenly.

"He's great, thanks for asking," Heiji smiles as she scans through her items, debating whether she should say the next words as a courtesy before she blurts them out, "how is Sunwoo?"

She wasn't exactly sure if she was interested, but since Jiwoo asked about Seoho, it only seemed fair to ask about the girls boyfriend. She still felt herself cringe a little inside at the thought of saying his name to Jiwoo.

"He's great," she forces a fake smile. "His nose is doing better now, thanks for asking."

"His nose?" Heiji asks confused. "What do you mean?"

"Oh, you don't know?" Jiwoo's face turned a bit sourly, not sure if she was actually believing what was coming out of Heijis mouth. "Well, your drunken mess of a boyfriend decided to punch my boyfriend for no apparent reason other than he can't handle being told no nor handle his drink."

Heiji stands there with her mouth agape, with a million thoughts running through her head. She places her items down in a plastic bag whilst looking up at her. "Jiwoo... He didn't punch Sunwoo, I was there."

"Oh, you were there?" She asks, it was the first time she had heard that. Sunwoo specifically didn't mention that Heiji was even involved or at the scene, he said it was him and some boys from school. "He never told me that."
