Third Person POV

"He doesn't want you here," Haknyeon says, attempting to mask the bluntness in his voice as he looked at his distraught best friend before him.

"Can't you at least give me my suitcase?" She sighs, placing a hand against her forehead. "I'll crash with Jinsoul for the night."

Haknyeon turns, looking at the man who sat on the bed with his head in his hands. "You know what? I don't want anything to do with this."

"You don't have anything to do with this," Heiji points out. "I'm not asking that of you."

"You're my best friend," he sighs, looking at her. "Your problems are mines, apparently."

"They don't have to be," she shakes her head. "Just let me in, he can't exactly fight you."

A voice murmurs from the room, only audible to the two at that distance from him, "I heard that."

Haknyeon slowly shuts the door behind them, handing the key to Heiji as the door locked. He looked at her sternly, but his eyes remained caring and gentle - surprisingly.

"You knew this would become a mess," he says. "You knew it would blow up on you one day. The man is broken, you need to be careful in there."

"I will be," Heiji sighs, looking down at her feet. "I didn't want it to be like this, Hak. I never wanted him to know."

"What did you expect?" He sighs as deeply as she did, looking around the corridor. "I'm sorry, you're not wholly to blame. I don't know what he was expecting either."

"I know," she nods. "Thanks for taking care of him, I appreciate it considering you were angry at him."

"I'm not anymore," he points out. "I'm sympathetic towards him, if I'm being honest. But as your best friend I will stick with you, although I'll still be honest - you have a lot to fix."

"And I will," she nods reassuringly, looking up at the man. "Thank you, Hak. I love you."

"Love you more," he ruffles her hair, kissing her cheek before giving her one last smile as he headed down the corridor to leave them to it.

Heiji took a deep breath, mentally preparing herself and her words before she unlocked the room door, to find the dark haired man laying down on the bed - his arms sprawled out beside him.

She stood for a second, contemplating if she should talk first or if she should leave him to rest, maybe she could sleep in the bath tub tonight if she really tried hard enough.

The man simply lay there, his breathing was heavy and it made Heiji relieved because if she hadn't seen the rising and falling of his chest, she would have assumed the worst.
