Third Person POV
The girl stood with her eyes wandering around the outdoors through the window, in which the ledge she sat on.
It was a perfect day. It was her perfect day.
The sun was barely hidden by the clouds in the sky, it was warm but not humid, a perfect autumn day.
"Let me fix that," Lia says gently, sorting a piece of the girls hair which had came out of place. "Will we get your dress on, then?"
Heiji turns to face the girl who stood too in a pair of joggers and a sweatshirt with her hair in an up-do and her makeup as perfect as it could ever look. She nods nervously, before the two began to grin at each other.
"I want to see you all in your dresses first!" Heiji says excitedly, looking behind her at Mia and Jinsoul who smiled back at her.
Heiji smiles as the girls hurry off, looking out the window yet again. She was beyond nervous, hell, nervous couldn't even cut it.
"Hello," Haknyeon's voice is heard from behind the door. "Are you decent? Can I come in?"
"We're fine, come in," Heiji laughs, standing up as the boy walked in. "You look amazing, Hak."
"I was expecting you to be in your dress," the man rolls his eyes jokingly, opening his arms to greet the girl. "But still beautiful, nonetheless."
The two hugged for a while, her body language and the way she didn't seem to want to let go spoke to Haknyeon.
"Is my Heiji nervous?" He pulls away, looking down at her.
"Haknyeon, I'm so clumsy, half the time I fall over fresh air," the girl rambles. "And if I fall? Then what? This is the biggest day of my life. I can barely walk in flat shoes never mind a two inch heel."
"Calm down," he says gently, breathing in and out for her to copy. "This is normal, Heiji. I bet Sunwoo's freaking out right now too."
Her heart jumped at the mention of his name. She thought about how she would struggle to keep it together during this whole thing. Even though they had been engaged for years, every time she thought about marrying him - it felt like the first time she was processing it.
"You're right," she shakes her head. "Thank you, Haknyeon."
She smiles up at the boy, taking his two hands in hers.
"I couldn't think of anyone I'd rather have as my man of honor."
Heiji turned to see her mother's tears eyes as she gently wiped her tears away. "Don't ruin that beautiful makeup, mother."
She hugged her mother's arm tightly. She had chosen for her mother to escort her down the aisle today, in the absence of a predominant male figure in her life. Although, Heiji couldn't have seen it being any other way, but that was only natural considering he was no longer here.
