Third Person POV

"Stop stressing," Heiji chuckles, looking over the table at the man. "This was all perfect."

Hyunjae glances up at her, a worried expression on his face as he chewed his bottom lip. "Are you sure?"

"Stop!" She places her cutlery on the table, walking around to squeeze his cheeks. "I already told you, you didn't have to do such a thing either."

"I wanted to," he sheepishly smiled, looking into her eyes. "It's the least you deserve."

Heiji glanced around at the petals which filled the mans living room, how they trailed delicately towards the candlelit table where he sat, looking pretty dapper, she must admit.

But why couldn't she shake wishing it was Sunwoo? Although, her answer was pretty obvious.

"I loved it," she chuckles again, as he gently pulled her onto his lap which only caused her to giggle even more. "Thank you, Hyunjae."

"Anything for you," his hands brushes through her hair, his hand softly gripping her waist to steady her. "And I mean that."

"I know," she says quietly, just enough so he could hear. "And I love you for that."

A lump formed in her throat after she said those words, it was as though she had no control over what she was saying.

Did she really love him? She had contemplated it for so long, having a boyfriend who would constantly shower her in love and compliments and affection - it seemed only fair that she returned such a thing.

She shortly came to the conclusion that the love she had for Hyunjae was nothing compared to the love she had for Sunwoo.

Her love for Hyunjae was a familiarity kind of love. Where she loved everything he done for her, how greatly he treated her, and how ideally perfect of a boyfriend he was. She couldn't help but love him in some way for that.

Her love for Sunwoo was a burning, although it seemed slow burning in this situation, passionate love. Where she loved him for who he was despite his flaws, despite despising how he treated her, and how he wasn't ideally the perfect husband. She couldn't help but love him for all those things, and it drove her mad.

"You do?" Hyunjae's eyes glimmered with hope and love, staring up at the girl with a smile slowly creeping on his face.

"I do," she nods, half contently, feeling somewhat guilty for the thoughts in her head. "I haven't said that before."

"I know you haven't," he reaches up to place a kiss on her cheekbone. "I've waited for this day for years."

Heiji giggles as he places kisses all over her cheek, gradually moving down towards her neck which made her shiver from his breath tickling her.
