Third Person POV
"Your manager?"
"Yes."
"What if things go wrong?"
"I won't know unless I try," Heiji sighs, looking over at Kevin and Jinsoul who sat beside her. "He's handsome, he's kind, what's not to like?"
Kevin blinks a few times, "the fact that he is your manager."
"That doesn't change anything," Heiji argues with Jinsoul nodding in agreement. "If things go sour, I'm sure we can sort it like mature adults. Besides, he's 23, he's a lot more mature than most guys."
"Okay," Kevin throws his hands up in defence, finally seeing her line of thought and argument. "He seemed nice at the party. Very respectable. So I'll trust you on this one."
"How do you feel about dating again?" Jinsoul's head peaks over to look at Heiji.
"I feel okay," Heiji shrugs. She didn't know what to feel, but hopefully a date would set her mind straight. "I guess I'll know by the end of tomorrow night."
"I think it's good you're getting yourself back out there," she nods, giving the girl a smile. "And if it doesn't go great, then it's still an experience. You've tried."
Kevin nods in agreement as the girl smiles at the two of them, but his head quickly turns back to Heiji, a worried yet shocked look in his eyes. "And what about Hyunjae?"
Heiji nearly chokes on the sip of water she had just took. "What about Hyunjae?"
"Well," Kevin coughs, looking at Jinsoul who was rather confused. He didn't want to talk openly about the girls business in case Heiji didn't want her to know. "You know... he likes you."
"Ehm," Heiji says awkwardly as Kevin looked at her with eyes that said 'you know what I mean'. "I guess I'll speak to him... about it. Yeah, I will."
"That's good," Kevin says awkwardly, although by this point Jinsoul had caught on to the two.
"I'm not dumb," she points out, smirking at Heiji. "Haknyeon is a bad liar."
Heiji laughed, her heart feeling somewhat warm because she knew that Haknyeon had lied to everyone to save the two of them. He was a good best friend.
"I know he is," Heiji sighed. "It was just a one time thing, I think? I don't know. We were drunk, it happened, that's all."
"He does like you though," Kevin points out. "I can tell."
"How can you tell?" Heiji mocks his tone of voice, opening her notepad before the class officially started.
"I've not known him for a long time, but I can see he's different around you," he explains. "Like a bit more shy, and he isn't shy."
