Third Person POV
Heiji spent the next day apologising to the newly married couple for the scene caused at their wedding.
She explained everything on her part again, whilst the two listened carefully and judgement free.
Sunwoo apologised to Kevin again, the embarrassment the two felt after the situation was immense. They couldn't imagine how annoyed they would have been had such a thing happened at their reception.
But luckily for the two, Kevin and Lia were so laid back they were almost horizontal.
Heiji felt sad leaving them again, reality struck her when she saw Kevin hug Sunwoo for a while longer, and a lot tighter.
When would she see them again? By the looks of things, Kevin too assumed the worst, holding on to the man and not wanting to let go. Would this be the last time he saw him?
Heiji simply ignored it, until he hugged her and squeezed her a little tighter. It all began to sink in.
Conveniently, the day the two got home, Sunwoo had an appointment, a check up on his condition.
Nothing serious or alarming came from the words of the doctor, which was a huge relief to them both. He was simply handed more medication and was told he wouldn't need any more supplies to keep his condition under control.
He was told a few things to be cautious of, flying with a lung condition was risky, but after conversing with the doctor, using his puppy eyes, he was able to manage it effectively.
"And when is your next appointment?" Heiji asks as the two reach her front door.
"Not for another three months," he smiles, giving her a kiss on the cheek as he walked through the door. "Everything is going smoothly, almost too smoothly."
"Don't say that!" Heiji chuckles, watching as the man walked with a new found confidence as he walked to the kitchen. "Look at you, you've got a spring in your step and everything."
"Why shouldn't I?" He laughs, taking a sip of water. "I feel like a new man."
"What did they advise against?" Heiji asks curiously, walking towards the living room as he trailed behind her.
"You look so worried," he tilts his head. "Just some silly things. I didn't realise the complications flying could cause, but everything seems okay oxygen wise etcetera."
"Obviously I'm worried," she shakes her head. "I need to know what I can do to help, if there's anything."
"You do enough," he reassures, lightly tugging on her shoulder to pull her closer towards him. "I guess tonight you could be the big spoon and keep me nice and warm? The doctor says I should avoid the cold."
"You're chancing your luck," she boops his nose as he scrunches his face. "But yes, I'll cuddle you and keep you cosy."
