Third Person POV
By "some things" she needed to sort out, firstly Heiji meant talk to Jinsoul. And that's what she was doing today. The girls had exchanged texts over the past few days since the football game, and both were beyond nervous to meet each other on the gloomy Sunday.
They planned to meet in a local coffee shop, close to the both of them and within a good walking distance. Heiji's hands trembled as she approached the wooden door of the shop, breathing in deeply and slowly trying to calm her nerves.
These last few days, she had so much to think about, as always. She was confused, and hurt, but she had to remember that it wasn't the girl she was meeting todays fault. She was simply, as far as she could comprehend, a victim of sorts, and she had to make sure her own emotions didn't overshadow the situation and make the girl feel uncomfortable in any way.
As the chilly autumn air reached the back of Heiji's neck sending a shiver down her spine, she took one last breath before opening the door and locating Jinsoul.
"Hi," Jinsoul waved lightly to the girl, standing up as she approached her. Heiji sees the two coffees and pastries sitting on the table which the girl must have ordered for her. "I hope these are okay for you."
"More than okay," the girl smiles back at her, before engulfing the girl in a tight hug. "I just hope you're okay."
Jinsoul sighs but with a smile present on her face as she sits down across from the girl. "I guess there's some things I need to tell you."
"Just whatever you feel comfortable with talking about, honestly," Heiji throws a sincere smile to the girl.
Before taking a deep breath, much like the many Heiji had taken outside, Jinsoul looked around the shop before opening her mouth to speak. "I dated Seoho roughly six years ago."
This was enough to make Heiji's head spin, confirming all of the previous thoughts she had been having during the week.
"I don't doubt that he is a good person, you must understand that," Jinsoul pleads with the girl. "I just know what he was like with me, and that's all I can judge him on."
"I completely understand."
"We were together for just under a year, at first everything seemed great, he was probably just as you know him to be - quiet, but intriguing because he opened up around you and only you. My friends loved him, my family did too, and so did I," although Heiji could relate to everything she said, she couldn't say she loved him. "We were only fifteen, it was nothing serious, but he was my first love, not much could take me away from that or put me off him, I was somewhat immature and somewhat blinded."
"It came to a point where he would use the trust I had in him against me, he would often make me believe that I was doing something wrong by simply having friends who were boys, stupid stuff like that," Jinsoul reaches over the table to offer her hand to Heiji. "It made me go a bit crazy, he was so paranoid that someone new was going to come and I would have fell for them instead. He was so insecure, and I had no idea why. When he wasn't like that, he was great, just as you probably know."
