8. can't stop thinking about her

It was Tuesday morning and Marinette rolled out of bed to get ready for school.

Did yesterday really happen? Marinette's mind went wild as she threw on her clothes and washed her face.

Was Chat Noir really on my balcony? Are Adrien and Kagami-

*ping*

Marinette reched for her phone before exited her home to leave for school.

Model Adrien Agrese has a girlfriend? Adrien and Kagami dating?!

Marinette looked away from her phone. Yesterday did happen. She dragged herself to school only to realize nobody was outside.

What?     Oh.    No, no, no, no, no!

Marinette ran up to her classroom and snuck in. Only pulling the attention of Alya, Nino, Adrien, and Chloe.

"Mrs. Bustier! Marinette's late!" Chloe said standing up in her seat.

The ravenette groaned and looked over at the teacher with puppy eyes. Thank god she looks annoyed, Marinette said in her head as her teacher let her take her place.

Adrien watched Marinette sat in front of him as his mind swelled with his own thoughts.

adrien's pov
this morning

I woke this morning while the thoughts of the day prior spun around in my head.

After leaving, we picked up Kagami and headed for school.

"Adrien what's wrong?" Kagami asked, placing her hand on top of mine. I smiled.

I shouldn't be thinking of other girls when I have Kagami.

"It's nothing, just stressing about homework," I laughed.

"Right?! I had no idea your school gave this much work," She giggled.

"I know, every day is a struggle for a guy like me," I said sarcastically running my fingers through my hair and putting on a mischievous face.

Whoops. My Chat is showing.

I looked over to see her reaction but she just gave a confused look and half hearted laugh.

My heart dropped. That's right. Kagami likes Adrien. Adrien the model. Adrien the perfect child. I clenched my fist, which went unnoticed by Kagami.

Soon we arrived at school. Marinette's going to be here. I smiled. I was able to be my self around her. As Chat of course. She seemed nervous around Adrien for some reason.

Kagami and I made our way over the Nino and Alya.

"Hey guys!" I smiled feeling a hand slip into mine. I looked down to she Kagami holding my hand and I gave a smile.

"What's up dude," Nino said nodding a head.

I looked around. Then I turned to Alya.

"Where's Marinette?" I asked.
