Snow.
It's simply just when water in the atmosphere freezes into ice crystals.
Just another example of participation like rain or hail.
Its a natural occurrence in the world, something that we as humans should be used to seeing.
But then...
There's Valerie Valentine.
The girl who is so amazed by snow and would rather be up here in the mountains than let's say the south of france at a beach.
I watched on, as she and Baz walked around the snow, the white shavings of ice clinging onto her curls, and the tip of her nose a rosy red and a smile that looks even purer amongst the natural scenery, as they both laughed at whatever ridiculous joke he had just said.
She's far more beautiful to me, than any other site this world could offer....
"How are things going on that end?"
I was torn away from her and my thoughts as June closed the door to Bazs car and came over to where I was leaning against my own.
"Exactly how you wanted things to go." I gave her one look of acknowledgement before looking away.
"Come on Ethan, are you still going to act like i'm the villain in this little charade you to have going on?"
"Charade?" I scoffed.
"You know better than anyone, that whatever it is you two had or still have, was never going to last. It was only going to be time before the board found out, and then what? Our whole team falls apart?"
"So why the hell are you so willing to give it the extra push by reporting it?"
"Its an ultimatum. I know your not so blinded by her that you would choose the option that results in me doing that. You chose to keep her at Edenbrook at the expense of your own relationship. You done that, Ethan. Not me."
"You gave me no choice-"
"Come on you two! Snow is great and all but we don't want to get frostbite!" Baz called out.
We started to walk over and I lowered my voice. "you gave me no choice. I know how important this is, but for christs sake, it was either that or send her to Mass Kenmore to work under your beloved Tobias Carrick."
She laughed and shook her head. "I thought you two were pals again after he helped save Vs life."
"Of course not. He for once in his life done something that wasn't selfish. Does he want a pat on the back for having some decency?"
"im sure he'd say the same for you. Choosing Vs career over Love."
"I don't-"
"But you do. And you're right. When you told me those feelings don't simply go away. But with the state our hospital is in now with a gross negligence lawsuit building, do we really want to have the top doctor at our hospital having his ethics questioned because he slept with an intern? Who consequently got onto his diagnostics team?"
