"Hold, on. Let me get this straight. You're telling me a couple of kids stole your keys from your hut WHILE you had a giant bird guarding it?" the headmaster was furious.
"I know it sounds immature and irresponsible, but I swear Professor Marazion," Mrs. Dayhalai countered, "They had an entire operation planned. There has to be more than just Ms. Elizabeta and Mr. Lukas."
Professor Marazion rolled his eyes, obviously unimpressed. "Well, kids do love playing pranks. I'm sure it was all in operation with Peeves. I'll call the students to my office tomorrow and get back your keys."
Mrs. Dayhalai nodded, but somehow she knew. She knew it wouldn't be that easy. Somehow, she knew that Elizabeta and Lukas weren't going to be in the halls tomorrow, and that they wouldn't be the only ones.
Ignoring what her body was telling her, she returned to her hut, and did not sleep that night.

The chaos that ensued the next morning was immeasurable. Eight students were missing and so was the key to the front gate. Immediately, students closest to the missing kids were called to the headmaster's office.
Among those students were Kiku, Matthew, Landon, Ludwig and Feliciano. There were others in the office too, such as a boy with brown hair and glasses, four blond boys, and a boy who carried his stick-like wand wherever he went.
"The eleven of you have been called here because of your relations to the missing students," Professor Marazion explained, "I have a very special task for you boys."
Of course the students had heard of their friends' disappearances, but they were surprised to be called on specifically by the headmaster. And such an important request shocked them even more.
"You lot are all fine on your studies, so I'll propose a little deal. If you can find our students and bring them home by the end of the year, you are all exempt from your OWLs. Matthew and Emil, since you two aren't old enough to take the OWLs yet anyway, you will be exempt from your class exams and any detentions you may get." The Headmaster's proposal was an appealing one.
All but one accepted: "I'm so sorry, Professor, but I can't. I feel like I'd be betraying Alfred!" Matthew.
"Who cares about betraying people! I'll do whatever it takes, Professor. You'll have your students back in no time," Landon had a menacing look in his eyes, one which was unsettlingly paired with a sly smile.
Matthew shot him a dirty look before returning his attention to Professor Marazion. "Thank you for the offer, Professor, but I'm afraid I have to respectfully decline." And with that, the boy walked out of the office.
"Anyone else?" the Headmaster asked the group. Everyone shook their heads, some out of fear, others out of determination.
"I want my friends back!" Feliciano was almost in tears.
"Me too!" A small blond boy said.
The boy with the mole pushed his glasses further up the bridge of his nose as he said, "I happen to care for a few of the idiots who left. Ludwig, you're brother is amongst them."
Ludwig nodded curtly.
The boy who's name was Emil scoffed, "I couldn't care less about that stupid brother of mine, but I can't have him having fun without me."
"Then lets begin," Professor Marazion said.

WELCOME TO SEASON 2! I actually have a bit of a plan this time around so woop woop. Anyway, sorry for leaving y'all for so long, but I'm back and ready to give you more Hetalia content (as if season 7 wasn't giving you enough).
Sorry for the short chapter but I figured setting the stage would be important for the new season.
