Leo arrived at his lair: a messy, abandoned metro station that has been made into a liveable home. His brothers were there, Raph and Mikey in front of the TV and Donnie was on a call with April. Raph was the first one to notice his arrival.
"There's the other simp! How did the date go?""Ha ha, very funny, Raphael." He said with sarcasm. "It went well, even though I probably gave her my number too quickly."
"What?! Leo, you trust too quickly." Raph mumbled. "Remember what happened between you and Karai?"
"She's different! This time, I know she is." Leo retorted.
"Well, I KNOW she isn't, and that's from experience."
"Seriously, don't you guys ever get tired of these nightly arguments?" Donnie asked, his hand on the bottom of the phone.
"I do, but he doesn't."
"Look, Leo, I'm trying to protect you, okay? It's difficult when you're running around, getting your heart broken by those stupid humans!"
"I can take care of myself, thank you very much!"
"Ugh, whatever, I know I can't change that crazy mind of yours." If this relationship turns out like what Karai did to him: "break his heart"... she would be on a gurney with a broken everything.
"Sooo, what else happened back there~?" Mikey asked.
"We just talked for a little. I just want you to know her and I had a good time, and everyone just move on, please... this is getting kind of uncomfortable." Raph rolled his eyes but agreed to continue watching Super Robot Mega Force {or whatever it is.}
"Who?" Someone spoke in a deep Japanese accent. Leo suddenly turned to a tall rat in a maroon robe.
"S-Sensei!" He nervously chuckled, then sighed. "It's a long story."
"Well then, let's discuss this 'new friend' in my dojo." His sensei called (Y/N) a "new friend" like Leo is in trouble. He gulped, but replied, "Hai Sensei."
Leo and his sensei sat down on their knees in the carpeted floor of the dojo. The huge tree stands proud behind him, light rays beaming down in between each leaf. A shrine was beside it, resonating the good memories and the bad ones of his father's. "It was just a normal patrol night." Leo started, sweating a bit from his forehead. "Actually, it was normal until suddenly all of Shredder's minions had us hostage in an abandoned building. Suddenly, a mysterious kunoichi had saved us from Tiger Claw and everyone else. Next time we saw her, she was in trouble, and we get to save her that time, and even got to know her afterwards. The actual reason I arrived later is because I wanted to know her better. I wanted to be with (Y/N)."
He hummed, stroking his long chin hair. "Strange. I assumed we were the only major martial artists, along with the Foot, in New York City."
"Me too. And she said she was taught by a sensei in Tokyo on her trip when she was 6." He scanned his mind to remember what the name is. "His name is Hajimari."
"Such a familiar name, yet very common." He clears his throat. "So is she helping you recover from the heartbreaking rejection by Karai?"
"Yes, and she gives really good advice."
"Very well." Splinter said. "Thank you for informing me of the new kunoichi. You are now dismissed."
Leo gets up from his knees and leaves from the right. "And Leonardo." He freezes to turn back at his father.
"Don't make her your next target for love yet.""Sensei..." He groans and blushes. He simply responds with a chuckle.
