"WHAT did he say?" jaemin yelled at her in the middle of the whole cafeteria. holding a tray in his hands, he almost threw his food away because of the immense shock that went through his body when he heard what aeri said to him.

aeri jumped a little, startled by his voice. so did the whole cafeteria too. they all stopped whatever they were doing for a 1 second, because they wanted to know why jaemin yelled that loudly. jaemin looked at everyone and sheepishly smiled.

he waved his hand, at his audience and then said, "mind your business," then turning around to walk to the empty seat that they had saved for both of them. aeri put her food tray down and begged jaemin to shut up because he was making a scene.

he apologized, then shook her hand away from his head. "okay okay shut up, i want to know what happened next," he pouted and complained. aeri was just telling jaemin about the day before, in fact, about the hendery situation to be exact.

she hadnt told anyone about it. because she didnt know what to say and who to say it to. she would tell jaehyun, of course. because they were bestfriends and bestfriends always did stuff like this. but because of how long they havent talked, she felt like it would be weird.

he wasnt interested to know about mark. why would he be interested in hendery? she would tell jungwoo but she would rather tell him when she met him at the cafe while he's working. and jaemin was in the same school as her. so the shoe fit him instead.

so she spilled everything. literally everything about that night.

kunhang pulled away from the kiss. aeri just sat there, in shock. she couldnt even utter a word. not even a single word. nothing was going in her brain. he kissed her for a solid five seconds. she didnt stop, ask for more, or even pull away. because she couldnt even comprehend what was going on.

and even after through all that. she felt nothing. why would she? she had feelings for jung jaehyun anyway. and kunhang knew that, so why did he continue to kiss her? was it to magically hope that aeri would accept him? kunhang was smarter than that.

"i think i like you, aeri," was what kunhang admitted. and it shook her. she didnt know what the hell to think about this whole situation. because meeting a new friend and having him fall in love with her was the last thing that was on her mind.

kunhang sheepishly smiled, let out a soft chuckle before facing the front again, like how they originally were. "you dont have to answer that," he said next. aeri just looked at him, his side profile, his sharp nose and jaw. she admired his face.

"i know how you feel about jaehyun and all," he smiled to himself. it took aeri a while to properly process everything that was on her mind. then she adjusted her seat and faced the direction kunhang was facing.

"then why did you kiss me?" was the first question aeri could find herself asking. he turned over to her and said, "to just know what it felt like to kiss someone you had feelings for," then shrugged, facing the front again. aeri just kept silent, she felt this weird awkward tension now.

"you're the first person that have made me feel like this " he confessed. "what about your ex girlfriend?" she asked, trying to keep the conversation going because if she didnt, silence would fall upon them and it would be weird for her.

"yeah, i liked her. but the way she made me feel..." he dragged his sentence. "was different, you know? the stuff you said about what you feel towards jaehyun, i never felt those things for her," he laughed. "i know i sound like a douche now,"
