Ban pov

"Baaan I got t-to ask you for a flavor" Danny drunkenly puts an arm around my shoulder after the stripper left

"Anything f-for you sir!" I say back almost as drunk as Danny

"You k-now how I-I'm gonna die shomeday a-and (y/n) a-agreed to only cry a-about it for five years" he explained

"Yeah sure" I hiccup

"W-well I wanted you to h-help (y/n) move on fashter th-then that... like d-don't you dare touch her at all w-while I'm alive b-but since y-you're going to be alive h-hrlp her move on, no drugs or alcohol! But help he-her move on" he tells me

"Wha?" I say confused

"Like, y-you would like marry her after I'm" he drags his finger over his throat and my eyes widened

"D-diane can-could help her" I say

"Diane is mine!" King stumbled into us before going to dance with captain

"I t-hink the boy called d-dibs" Danny says

"But (y/n) and d-Diane made out for way l-longer then I-I did!" I tell Danny

"What?! Y-you and (y/n) kissed!" Danny yelled

"Ooonly once f-forever ago" I say

"B'but you kissed!" He yells

"Only for like fi-three seconds t-twenty is years a-ago" I explain

"T-twenty years ago! W-when I just distappeared" Danny crys

"Its a a a long shtory but she r-rejected me th-then I fell in love w-with someone else!" I explain as Danny crys on my shoulder

"It is time to leave" gowther tells us and we stumbled out the door then gowther turns to take Danny home

"Sooo Ban! Once D-Danny dies you could have (y/n)! We don't need to b-break up the wedding y-you can justice w-wait" king whispered to me but I ignore him and try to get hawk to give me a ride

Small time skip
(Y/n) pov

"Elaine!!!" Ban yells running into our room and hugging her

"Ban" elaine replies barely hugging Ban back, then I get pulled into the hug with them

"M-my two favoritest girls in the w-world" Ban tells us while I try to squirm out of the hug
"sorrrry I ment women" Ban says and eventually lets us out of the hug

"Ban do you want to be sober while you can talk to elaine?" I ask

"Ye-" Ban starts to say

"No!" Elaine cuts him off and I raise an eyebrow

"Why?" I ask

"I think Ban still needs the courage to say something that he'll regret not saying later" elaine explained

"What would I-I regrret not s-saying?" Ban asks

"Ban! Tell (y/n) how you really feel about her!" Elaine demands

"I can't!" Ban replies

"Why?!" Elaine yells

"B-because the plan is sssshe marrys Danny until he dies then I kill b-beautiful (y/n) making you come bake to life! I-I don't want anyone to get hurt! If-if I tell her th-that I love her a-and she wanted to be with me then Dannnny would be heart broken!"Ban says making me happy for a split second before I realized the full damage of his words
"If I t-tell her that I love her and she decided to just continue with her plans to marry him then myyy heart would be crushed into a million billion trillion killion pieces!" Ban yells making a big pit form in my stomach as a million thoughts rush into my mind

"B-ban, do you really mean that?" I quietly ask and he turns his head to see me forgetting that I was there
"Ban?" I repeat his name And he hurried and grabbed one of my spell beads using on himself neither of us realizing that elaine wasn't there anymore

"Do you want me to be honest?" Ban asks after he took a few deep breaths

"I have no idea" I reply with tears forming in my eyes while a long painful silence fell between us before Ban finally started to talk

"Can I know how you feel about me?" He hesitantly asks and I went to answer but quickly shut my mouth scared I'd say something that could ruin one of our lives
"I know that you love Danny... I was never going to tell you, i-i mean I was going to tell you before Danny showed up but I never found the right words and now that I've gotten to know Danny he's a really great guy. He cares a lot about you. I never wanted to do anything to betray him." He looks at the floor and waits for me to say something but continues talking after a full minute of me not replying
"I recently remember why I fell in love with you and I felt terrible for betraying elaine like that but then I... I remembered the real reason I wanted to drink from the fountain of youth. It wasn't my Bullshit reason to live until something good happened to me" I almost laugh remembering what he said to me years ago
"I was so miserable not having you in my life, I wanted to be with you. I did lots of research on the fairy king forest and what I should expect. But after all my hard work, once I had gotten to the fairy king's forest all my memories of you disappeared" Ban explains and I gasped putting my hand over my mouth
