J...Jotaro?! What the hell are you doing here?!"

He looked at you, shock evident on his face. "I could ask the same thing to you."

"I was just vibing with my friend," you said honestly.

His eyes calmly took in the situation, scanning the room, pausing on you, your friend, and finally the random stranger. Something seemed off about the man who was just about to attack you, though. He's frozen now, a strange look on his face. He hadn't even turned around when Jotaro came in, instead he just stared at the floor, his back to him.

"I came here to catch this f*cker," Jotaro said calmly. The man suddenly jumped a little. That was when you realized something - something that almost made you laugh. This guy was afraid of Jotaro. Terrified it seemed. He wouldn't even look at him. He just remained in his position, crouched on the floor. Why would he be so afraid? You wonder. Yeah, Jotaro might be scary to another kid like you, but this guy was an adult and was even bigger than him. Plus, he could control people. Jotaro wasn't that strong, right? Plus, how did they even know each other?

The man gritted his teeth and finally turned to face the teen. He opened his mouth as if he was going to say something but remained silent. Jotaro just stood there, glaring at him, then started advancing towards you guys.

The man jerked to his feet, taking a step backwards as he just stared at Jotaro. His arms were spread away from his body, his hands open as if he was ready to fight at any second. But you noticed a slight tremor in his fingertips- this guy wasn't about to fight. He was ready to run. And you didn't blame him. Even though it wasn't directed at you, Jotaro's glare was intimidating. "Did he hurt you?" He says, his gaze unwavering.

It takes you a second to realize he's talking to you again. "N- no, I don't think so..."

"Good. Then get up and get out of this house. You have no business here anymore."

"But... but what about my friend?"

"Take them, too. They won't be able to do much for a while, but if you lead them to your house they'll follow you."

"Okay, but... will you be okay? How do you even know th-"

"Will you just shut up and go already?" He said.

You swallowed, then took your friends hand and headed towards the door.

"Oh, one more thing." He finally looked at you again. "Don't tell anyone about this. Not even the police. You got it?"

You were surprised by that- it was the first thing you were planning on doing when you got home- calling the police and telling your parents. You wanted to question him further, but he'd probably get angry. So you just nodded and quickly headed to your house.

When you were finally outside you paused and stared up at the house for a second. You didn't notice any big commotion. You expected they would fight or something, but it was all dead quiet and peaceful. You figured the other guy had just surrendered? Anticlimactic, you thought, then continued walking.

When you were about to open the door to your house you suddenly heard a loud yell, then the sound of glass shattering. You quickly turned to see a figure flying out of the top window, crashing into the road. Shocked, you just stood in place for a moment, then rushed quickly inside, dragging your friend along. You didn't see anything.

Obviously you didn't sleep that night. You didn't hear any other commotion, and your friend never broke out of that dazed state. You just laid in bed on your back, the covers pulled up over your chin as you replayed the night's events in your head. You googled endless things on your phone. "Mind control" "real life mind control" "real life zombie" and things like these. There were a bunch of articles on psychology and diseases, but nothing like what you'd witnessed that night. You peeked out the window every now and then to see if you could get a glimpse of the man or Jotaro, but you couldn't see anything in the pitch black darkness. Before you knew it, the sun was just beginning to peek over the horizon and your friend finally went to sleep on the floor.

You lazily got up, rubbed at your eyes, then squatted down and shook them. "Hey.... Hey...!" You whisper yelled. "Get up. You need to wake up." After a while of doing this with still no response, you tried to pick them up to the best of your ability, but you had the upper body strength of a jellyfish. So that obviously didn't work.

You sighed, then, not knowing what else to do started getting ready for school. Under normal circumstances you would have just stayed in bed, faking an illness. But today...you needed to go. You needed answers from Jotaro.

Before you left you tried waking up your friend once more, and that's when the thought hit you.

Were they... dead?

In a panic you shook them harder. Then did the logical thing and checked their pulse. It was still strong. You sighed a sigh of relief. You figured they were just really tired after being under someone's control, if that's how something like that worked. After washing your face, you tried googling some more, but eventually just got lost in endless YouTube videos about psychology and "tricking the mind." Maybe that's what that guy was, a really good psychologist. But was that how it worked? You could convince someone to do whatever you wanted, even increase their physical strength?

You sighed as you stood up, too impatient to wait for the time you usually left to go to school. You'd just be early today. It occured to you that Jotaro most likely didn't get to school early, but taking a walk was better than just sitting there and stressing out.
