i felt the tears rushing down my cheeks as I tried to shake sam awake. "sam, please wake up." the doctor ran in "miss you need to wait outside." two male nurses forced me out of the room. the next few minutes were a blur, all I remember is sitting on the floor outside of his room.

after about 2 hours the doctor came out of his room. "is he gonna be okay?" "he's stable, he should be fine." i felt slightly better knowing he will be okay. i walked back into his room and sat down on the hospital bed.
