16.Stupid Weak Immune System

Minami woke up the morning after her day back from break feeling absolutely dreadful. She had already puked in her toilet in the middle of the night. Her forehead was hot and she could barely talk because her throat hurt.

Minami pulled out her phone and pressed the first contact. It was Shirabu.

"Minami-san?" the setter asked.

"I'm not feeling too good today," Minami rasped. "Can you tell the teachers I-cough-won't be there today?"

"Uh sure," Shirabu replied. "Just, get better."

"I'll try," she let out a coughing fit and thanked Shirabu once more, getting off the phone. 

Tendou POV

"Wakatoshi-kun, where's Minami-chan?" Tendou asked his best friend. "I haven't seen or heard from her all day."

"I do not know," he answered. "I assume she's been going to class."

Tendou nodded, " 'Kay, see ya later Wakatoshi-kun!"

Tendou hurried down the hallway and went to his dorm room. He dropped his bag off inside and headed to Minami's dorm room.

He rapped on the door three times. No answer. He knocked some more. Still no answer. Tendou bent down and retrieved the key from the bottom of the baby blue welcome mat sitting outside the door. 

He opened the door, "Hello? Minami-chan?" No answer. He made his way through the dorm, looking in all of the places. He reached her bedroom door and slowly opened it.

There was Minami, wheezing and incapacitated. Tendou rushed to her side, crouching down beside her bed. He felt her forehead with his hand. She was burning up.

"Satori?" she asked, her eyes slowly opening. "W-what are you doing here? You could get sick. She slowly sat up but went into a coughing fit. Tendou wrapped an arm around her waist, slowly setting her back down.

"Don't get up. You need to rest. And don't even think about arguing, I have a very strong immune system cause I got a bunch of sicknesses when I was little. I'm staying here till you get better," he said, planting a kiss on her forehead.

He got up from his crouch and went to the bathroom. He wet a towel and came back, placing it on her forehead, easing her pained face for a second.

"Thank goodness it's Friday," Tendou mumbled, stroking her hair."Minami-chan I'm going to be right back. I need to get some stuff."

He kissed her forehead once more and got up, leaving her room and heading to his own.

Once he got there he grabbed a bag, "Semi, where's the Ibuprofen and pain reliever?"

"In the medicine cabinet in the kitchen," his roommate replied as he watched Tendou stuff his bag ice packs,a hoodie, a thermometer and then the medicine. "Why? Are you sick?"

"No," Tendou replied. "Thanks Semi Semi."

He quickly hurried out of the dorm and headed back to Minami's. He made his way to her room. She was just like he left her.

Her chest slowly rose and fell and when she breathed out her breath was raspy. Suddenly her eyes widened and she ran into the bathroom.

Tendou followed her and stood behind her, holding her dirty blonde hair up as she threw up into the toilet.

After a few minutes, she finished and flushed the toilet.

"Minami-chan, I want you to take a warm shower, then once you get back out, I can serve you food and you can take this medicine."
