Allies or Threats

-CORAL HARBOUR-
Elliot and Kendra were leaning against a tree as they saw how happy everyone were and wondered if their lives would ever be like that, Elliot noticed a kite that got stuck in the tree and helped the child get it out of the branch, Kendra smiled as her boyfriend gave the kite back to boy, just when they thought they'd be able to get their lives back on track an explosion caught their attention as they exchanged looks and nodded, knowing what they have to do

Elliot and Kendra pulled out their morph-x keys and inserted them into their morphers, transforming them into their ranger forms as they headed toward the source of the explosion

-GRID BATTLEFORCE-
The rangers all ran into the command room as they had been told about a RoboTron sighting near the park, just before Devon and his team are about to leave they are stopped by commander Shaw and felt confused as to why she'd stop them

Devon: commander what gives?

Commander Shaw: the reason I stopped you is because that RoboTron is after two people, Elliot and Kendra

The three rangers exchanged looks as they looked at commander Shaw in bewilderment

Ravi: wait a minute, I thought those two were on the side of evil, why the sudden change of heart

Zoey: I heard Blaze and Roxy talking about them earlier, something about Elliot and Kendra being forced to do something against their will, not exactly sure

Devon: speaking of Blaze and Roxy, where are they?

Commander Shaw: they headed out a few minutes ago, remember rangers Elliot and Kendra used to work for Evox, but right now it seems that they only ones they can trust are Blaze and Roxy.

Zoey: that makes sense, Blaze and Roxy saw and heard everything their avatars did whilst comatose, only they understand what it's like to feel regretful for your actions and are willing to redeem yourselves

Devon and Ravi nodded in response to this and turned to the commander

Commander Shaw: we don't know a lot about Elliot and Kendra or why they did the things they did, but right now I think we should let Blaze and Roxy deal with it

Devon: once they get back here with Elliot and Kendra it's better if they are put in a holding cell until we know for sure if they can truly be trusted

Ravi and Zoey knew Devon was right nodded in approval as the blue and yellow rangers turned their attention to the monitor

-AT THE PARK-
Elliot and Kendra fought back against the RoboTron but unfortunately their attacks had zero effect on him as he charged toward them and used his arms to send the two rangers directly into the wall who struggled back to their feet as DemolitionTron charged toward them, this time Elliot and Kendra avoided the collision with him and used their weapons to force him back only for them to pushed back with such force that they had been knocked out of their ranger suits as they struggled to get back up

Elliot: this RoboTron is not like the others

Kendra: Evox definitely means business

Elliot: we didn't come this far just to give up

Kendra: are you crazy, we can't defeat him

Elliot refused to listen to Kendra as he inserted the key into his morpher and assumed his ranger form before charging toward the RoboTron

Kendra: yep he's definitely crazy, that's why I love him

Kendra pulled out her key and assumed her own ranger form before charging toward the RoboTron with her blasters as she opened fire

DemolitionTron: you seriously think those bullets will have any effect on me, think again you puny humans

Elliot and Kendra felt a rush of adrenaline coursing through their veins as they combined their attacks before colliding with the RoboTron sending him into the wall, unfortunately the force of the attack also injured Elliot who clutched his shoulder before he was helped up by his girlfriend Kendra

Kendra: you okay?

Elliot: I'll be fine, we need to finish this quick

Blaze and Roxy were sitting in the suv as they watched Elliot and Kendra fight back against the RoboTron despite Elliot being injured and exchanged looks with each other

Roxy: should we help them out?

Blaze: remember they said they'll help us out when we need it, so until then we wait

Roxy: but Elliot is already injured Blaze

Blaze: I'm sure they can handle it

Elliot and Kendra were tossed through the fence as they helped each other up with the RoboTron approaching them, once again they avoided contact and prepared their final attacks as crimson and purple energy surrounded Elliot and Kendra before they tapped their morphers with a cobra and wolf surrounding them as they charged up before performing the Cobra Spin Strike and Howling Tempest attacks as the attacks made contact with the RoboTron who fell to his knees before it caused an explosion, destroying the RoboTron

Elliot and Kendra cancelled their transformations as they walked out of the warehouse before stopping to catch their breath, Elliot looked towards the suv as Blaze motioned for them to walk over, Elliot and Kendra exchanged looks before walking over to the suv and got into the car as Blaze and Roxy drove to Grid Battleforce with Roxy noticing that Elidra didn't say anything the entire way there, this worried them as Elliot and Kendra looked out of the windows and wondered how they were going to explain their actions to the remaining members of the team.
