Care or careful?

It was that time of year for the rangers, they were dressed in their Halloween costumes and were ready for a night of trick or treating, Devon was dressed as scorpion from Mortal Kombat, Ravi was dressed as The Undertaker from WWE, Zoey was dressed as Cinderella, Nate was dressed as a Viking, Steel was dressed as Hades, while Blaze and Roxy were dressed as Jack and Rose, Elliot and Kendra were the only ones who weren't dressed up, and there was a reason for that.

Devon: is there any reason you guys aren't dressed up for Halloween,

Elliot and Kendra looked at each other, then back to Devon, before nodding in response.

Ravi: is everything okay?

Elliot: not really

Zoey: why, what's wrong?

Kendra: today marks the anniversary of Katie's passing

The rangers looked at each other, then back to Elliot and Kendra who embraced each other.

Devon: I'm so sorry Eli

Elliot: it's cool, no matter what happens my mom will always be watching over both me and Kendra

Zoey: true, she may be gone, but she's never forgotten

Elliot and Kendra looked at each other and smiled as they shared a kiss and a cuddle as the others walked over to them, embracing them both in a hug as Roxy kissed Elliot on his forehead and cuddled him.

Kendra: we'll see you guys later

Roxy walked over to her best friend and had a talk with her, before she walked with Elliot

Roxy: look after him

Kendra smiled at her best friend and gave her a cuddle

Kendra: I will

Roxy and Kendra smiled at each other, before she walked out of Grid Battleforce with her boyfriend, Elliot.

-CORAL HARBOUR CEMETERY-
Elliot and Kendra exchanged looks as they walked into the cemetery and toward a pair of graves that said "Katie Elizabeth Ambrose and Marlon Keith Ambrose", Elliot and Kendra placed the flowers around the graves as they paid their respects to both, Katie and her husband Marlon.

Elliot: it's hard to believe that it's been this long since the day my mom passed away

Kendra: I know... I know how much your hurting

Elliot: I keep looking for closure, but every time I see Evox, all I see is ...

Kendra: ...your mother dying

Elliot: even with Evox destroyed, I should've felt relieved but unfortunately I don't, those memories of fighting against our friends will always haunt us for the rest of our lives

Kendra: as much as I'd like to move forward and forget about the past, unfortunately I can't because it's not that easy, it's like you said, the memories will always haunt us

Elliot and Kendra looked at each other, as they feel the regret tearing them apart both on the inside and outside as they knew that despite joining the team, the only way they would be truly free from the nightmare, would be to get rid of Scrozzle.

Elliot: if we're going to put our past behind us, then there's only one way to do that

Kendra looked at her boyfriend and nodded in approval at what he was suggesting
