Beast Morphers: First Encounter

After a long fought battle against Evox, Team Alpha had returned back to base, however they did sustain a few injuries from their encounter with the black ranger. Elliot and Kendra were being tended to by Zoey and Nate, while Blaze and Roxy were being tended to by Devon and Ravi, they were very surprised at what they encountered.

Blaze: looks like Evox isn't messing around anymore

Elliot: I second that, he's become even more powerful than he was back then

Devon, Ravi, Nate, Zoey, and Steel stood in front of the four rangers who had just been bandaged up and asked them about their encounter with the black ranger.

Devon: how did Evox obtain his ranger powers?

Kendra: he must've had someone collect animal DNA also, except he never mentioned anything about using the powers himself

Elliot: until Scrozzle fused the animal DNA with Evox, this must've amplified his powers and enabled him to shapeshift into his new ranger form

Ravi: and we thought facing him twice was bad enough, especially after what he did to Elliot and Kendra

Elliot and Kendra looked down as they remembered all the dreadful things that Evox had forced them to do, they knew that they had to get out of there.

Elliot: we're uh.. we're just going to go for a walk

Kendra: we'll meet up with you guys later

Elliot and Kendra walked out of the command room as the rangers exchanged looks with each other, before turning to Ravi, who noticed them looking at him.

Ravi: what?

Blaze: not exactly the right choice of words there Ravi

Ravi: I'm sorry guys, I'm just a little frustrated that Evox is back

Roxy: well he is a virus you know, I mean a long time ago we thought that he just wanted out of his digital prison

Blaze: and boy did he get out in a big way

Zoey walked over and sat beside Devon who was deep in thought about what happened with Elliot and Kendra.

Zoey: tell me about it, I mean facing your avatars was one thing, no offence guys...

Both: none taken

Zoey: ...but dealing with Evox was an even tougher task

Nate: especially with him revealing that I was....the one responsible for releasing him into the system

Roxy: what do you mean?

Devon: years ago when Nate was still young, he was looking for new ways to morph, except...

Nate: all my attempts failed, until I tried the cellshift morpher, with the snake dna and some morph-x, I had no idea that I had released Evox into the system, I feel like such an idiot for not noticing

Blaze: looks like Devon was right

Devon: what do you mean I was right?

Blaze: I mean you said that you had seen an avatar of a snake in the system

Roxy: we're sorry that we didn't believe you

Devon: no worries, we all make mistakes, but we also learn from them as to not repeat the same mistake twice, like the first time when we discovered our weaknesses
