Beast Morphers: First Encounter

Trust takes time

Blaze, Roxy, Elliot and Kendra were the riptide gym and were talking about what had happened with Evox before they joined them, even though they meant well Blaze was still sceptical about trusting them as they did work for Evox at one point

Roxy: you guys okay?

Elliot and Kendra exchanged looks before nodding in response, Roxy smiled at them as they sipped their smoothies

Blaze: you guys don't have any intention of betraying us do you?

Elliot, Kendra and Roxy looked at him in shock as they weren't expecting him to ask them that

Roxy: Blaze, why would you ask that?

Blaze: because they were on the side of evil at first, not only that but you guys left our friends defeated and helpless

Roxy: Blaze, stop it!

Elliot: I know that we have a lot to atone for especially for the things we had done, but Evox never exactly made it easy for us

Kendra: we completely understand that your sceptical about trusting us, that's fine because we are unable to forgive ourselves for the things we've done

Blaze doesn't speak a word and just nods as he sips his smoothie, Roxy wasn't too happy with him as she hadn't expected him to be so harsh

Roxy: do you guys still use your ranger forms

Elliot: we only use them to fight back against Evox especially for the things he had done to us

Kendra: Blaze, I understand that you aren't fully onboard with trusting us completely and to be honest, Elliot and myself will do whatever it takes to redeem ourselves for the things that we had done

Blaze: guys I'm sorry I was so straight forward with you, I'm just feeling scared that one day something might happen to you and you'll eventually turn on us

Elliot: that won't happen Blaze, the others don't really know what happened to us because we never explained it clearly

Kendra: we have no reason to fight you guys, because after all we're a team and no matter what happens we stick together

Blaze and Roxy nodded in response as they smiled at Elliot and Kendra, however despite becoming a team, Blaze felt like Elliot and Kendra needed to prove themselves to show him that they had really changed and were willing to make up for the things they had done.

Roxy: there's something that we've been meaning to ask you guys

Elliot and Kendra looked at Roxy as they sipped on their smoothies

Elliot: what's up Rox?

Roxy: well I was thinking after all this training that we've been doing why don't we make you official rangers

Blaze was shocked by what Roxy had just said as Elliot and Kendra exchanged looks of bewilderment.

Kendra: that would be great, we could do with a fresh start

Blaze: will you guys excuse us a minute

Elliot: we don't mind

Kendra: what do you think he needs to talk to her about?

Elliot: I have zero idea

Elliot and Kendra continued to drink their smoothies as Blaze and Roxy walked outside the gym and had a serious conversation about what she had just asked Elliot and Kendra.
