Elliot and Kendra arrived back at their flat as they tidied up and put everything back the way it was but unfortunately they were unable to get Evox's words out of their heads as Kendra turned to her boyfriend Elliot who was dusting off the sofas and tables

Kendra: what do you think Evox meant by the words he spoke?

Elliot: he's just playing mind games with us, making us believe that Blaze, Roxy and their friends would turn their backs on us

Kendra: do you believe him?

Elliot: not really besides we believed him once and that was bad enough, he manipulated us into fighting for him, heck he even forced us to attack our own friends, and truthfully babe I'm sick and tired of seeing that ranger form of his

Kendra could see the frustration that her boyfriend was feeling and walked over to him while wrapping her arms around his waist, giving him a reassuring look.

Kendra: it's okay babe, you aren't the only one who feels like that, fighting for Evox was one thing but the first time when we defeated the three rangers, I felt sick to my stomach after we did that

Elliot: it was never easy for us, our lives were already a mess before Evox came along and made them 100x worse, makes me wonder how we can even live with ourselves knowing that Devon and his two friends were lying there battered and bruised

Kendra walked over to her boyfriend and sat down beside him as she wrapped her arms around him and reassured him that everything would be okay.

Kendra: what do we do if Evox shows up again?

Elliot: if he shows up again, we do what we did before except this time he won't be walking away

Kendra: our ranger powers aren't exactly powerful enough to face him, though it might be risky we have to try using our fusion attack, Eclipsing Cobra

Elliot: that won't do much against that good for nothing snake, but at least it's better than nothing I guess

Evox arrived back to the hideout as he stumbled toward the canisters of morph-x and told Scrozzle to repair him as he had some unfinished business to attend to.

Evox: HURRY UP SCROZZLE, I HAVEN'T GOT ALL DAY!!

Scrozzle: I'm hurrying master but I don't understand why you would face them by yourself, one of our RoboTrons could handle it

Evox: No! This is something that I will deal with myself, no one does that to me and gets away with it

With his repairs complete, Evox teleported back to coral harbour and used his blaster to attack the city, the civilians ran away from the attack as Evox moved closer toward them with his blaster pointed at the a child who had fell to the ground as she attempted to get away.

Evox: cower at my feet, you puny humans!

Evox continued his attack and was about to fire his blaster at the child, before a crimson energy blast knocked the blaster out of his hand, Evox turned toward the direction of the attack and saw Elliot and Kendra in their ranger forms as they charged toward Evox.
