Newbie Interrogation

Blaze and Roxy arrived back at Grid Battleforce as they walked into the command room where their friends were waiting while they had Elliot and Kendra wait in the holding cell while Blaze and Roxy explain what happened to the others, Commander Shaw sat in the chair as she was deep in thought over what to do about Elliot and Kendra.

Devon: what do we do now?

Zoey: it might be a trick, they might be deceiving us

Ravi: we have no idea why they did the things they did, because we first encountered them a couple of weeks ago, whatever happened to them they must've hid it from us

Blaze and Roxy saw the distrust in their eyes but knew that they had to tell them about what they had to deal with

Blaze: almost all of us

Devon, Zoey and Ravi looked toward Blaze and Roxy with confused looks

Devon: you guys knew?

Roxy: truth is the reason why we couldn't tell you guys is because they are in the same situation as Blaze and myself

Blaze: they had no choice but to listen to Evox, even after everything he put them through

Zoey and Ravi: what does that mean?

Roxy: they've been dealing with this for the past 6 months, Evox kept abusing them, torturing them and manipulating them into fighting for him, Elliot and Kendra were powerless to do anything to stop Evox

Blaze: even when the four of us clashed multiple times despite the times they attacked us, there was no denying the regret that they were feeling in their hearts

Devon, Zoey and Ravi turned to the commander who chose to speak with Elliot and Kendra to know why they did the things they did, Blaze and Roxy nodded and went to get Elliot and Kendra bringing them to the command room where the rangers were waiting for some answers

Commander Shaw: Elliot, Kendra we know that you two were fighting for Evox, but what we don't know is why

Elliot and Kendra exchanged looks as they felt like they were in court facing a trial whether they'd be found guilty or innocent

Devon: listen you guys, the commander might seem harsh but all she wants to know is the truth about your actions

Elliot: you guys weren't the ones who watched your parents die in front of you, me and Kendra have had a lot to deal with all our lives, from losing my dad, to losing my mom, getting bullied by others in high school, Kendra's life hasn't been that easy either

Kendra: I got raped by a couple of boys who were dating my so-called friends, no one was there to help me or even show me any support, losing all my friends and not having anyone to turn to following the rape is the main reason why I couldn't trust anyone ever again, until I met Elliot, we were both having a difficult time with our lives my boyfriend lost his parents, got bullied a lot and had no one else to turn to, all of that negativity that we were feeling was used by Evox who manipulated the both of us into fighting for him

Devon, Zoey and Ravi along with Nate, Steel and Commander Shaw were in shock and disbelief that they had been dealing with that for a long time as they saw the look of regret in their eyes

Devon: guys we're so sorry we had no idea how much you were hurting

Zoey: no one deserves to go through that especially you guys

Ravi: we're here for you guys whenever you need us

Elliot: thanks that means a lot, but right now we are unable to forgive ourselves for our actions

Kendra: which brings us to that RoboTron we faced yesterday, Elliot and I wanted a chance of redeeming ourselves

Elliot: using our current ranger forms we fought back against DemolitionTron, he was quite the challenge for us but together we took him down despite me sustaining an injury from the impact I took

Kendra: right now the only people who we can trust are Blaze and Roxy, it's better that way

Elliot: at least for now, besides we've still got a long way to go before getting our lives back

Commander Shaw stepped forward and looked at Elliot and Kendra who stood side by side with each other and held hands

Commander Shaw: I understand what you are going through, but unfortunately we won't allow you guys to put yourselves in danger

Devon: commanders right, we need to stick together if we're going to have any chance of defeating Evox for good

Ravi: we understand right now you are unable to trust us and we won't pressure you to trust us

Zoey: he's right take the time you guys need especially since you have had such difficult lives from the start, but if you ever need anyone to turn we're all going to be here for you guys whenever you need us

Devon, Zoey and Ravi gave them a smile and embraced them in a hug before pulling away and reassuring Elidra that everything will be okay

Elliot: it feels good to be surrounded by people who actually care about us

Kendra: he's right we've never had moments like this before

Elliot: maybe because we never met the right people, until now

Elliot points to everyone in the command room and gives them a reassuring smile

Elliot: you guys are our future, our friends, and our family, we love each and every last one of you

Kendra: this is our chance at redemption and we are not going to let Evox ruin our lives again or even let him take the morph-x

Elliot: when we first woke up, our goal in our lives was to fight for the people we care about, we will fight to protect Grid Battleforce and the morph-x towers, together as a team

Grid Battleforce smile and nod in approval as Elliot and Kendra smiled back at them and walked out of the building with the goal of destroying Evox once and for all.
