Although she wanted to let them arrest him and his wife, she could not let them take him away for something he had no direct part in. He had no idea she would do this plus he left Akilah so it would be unfair for her to punish him. He came to check on their son and her daily . Their son surprisingly was doing well and no longer on a ventilator. He was also gaining weight well and the doctor assured her that as soon as he was able to breathe on his own they would be discharged. Being that she had been here for a little over four months she was estatic. It was hard living in a hospital although Tor was there each and everyday, the staff was very friendly and her friends called everyday and came to check on them when they could.

" Tedros I swear you're trying to suck all of this milk out of my breasts, slow down king."

She had named him Tedros Akin Nkosi.

" For a premature baby he has the best suckling refluxes but it's good because he's gaining wait faster. He's x rays are looking good, we just need to monitor him off oxygen overnight and then we can move forward."

The doctor explained as she breastfed.

" That's great, it means we can leave here soon."

" You're tired of us already?"

The nurse looking after her son joked. Staying in a hospital wasn't the ideal situation she was glad to be surrounded by friendly and caring people. She was officially discharged and waiting on her son, the hospital staff really went all out for her she could not complain, maybe they felt sorry for her. Tor was also at her every back and call, anything she needed he got. From food to her hygiene products and he also brought the twins over on weekends.

" What are you thinking about?"

" Sorry just dreaming about being home with my babies. How are they?"

" They are great, just dropped them off with James, how are you two doing?"

" We're great. The doctor said we might be discharged in two days, you see he's not on oxygen anymore. They are trying to wean him off, so far so good hey nurse Shirley?"

" Yes he's doing great even while breastfeeding. This is a good sign but we still have to monitor him when he's sleeping."

Tor took him from her as soon as she was done breastfeeding and began to rub his back. Amara noticed the stressed look on his face and how tight he held onto their son and knew something was wrong.

" She got bail didn't she?"

" Can we talk about this in private?"

She was hoping that her interpretation of his mood was off but as soon as he said that, she knew. The lawyer had assured her that Akilah was unlikely to get bail.

" How? I mean_ don't they know what this woman is capable of? No i can't stay here, my kids and I have to go."

" Hey, hey! Calm down. I'll protect you and our children...."

" You couldn't the first time, what makes you think you can protect is now?"

" I'm aware now...."

She blocked him out as she thought of a way to escape, Akilah was not going to hurt them ever again.
